Science, Mathematics, and Writing are considered the most crucial and fundamental classes for students who are pursuing their study. With my current experience teaching Key Stage 2 &3 students Math and Science, I am keen at delivering and tutoring the contents to students.

The science course is integrated and designed to give students the skills of scientific method, critical thinking, reading, writing, and organization in addition to learning science concepts. Students learn more about biology, earth science, and physical science.

Math course focuses on the development of mathematical knowledge and skills so students can use their mathematical literacy and problem-solving skills to solve the everyday problems.

The essay course aims to help students become better writers. Students explore the variety and complexity of all essay forms as well as discovering different approaches that feel most natural and effective to them.

About Me

Over the past three years of dwelling in the education sector, I have been teaching English, Math, and Science to various capacities (10-30 students) and grade levels ranging from beginners to adult learners. In addition, I also have been volunteering and offering private tutoring classes to underprivileged students from the local university to enhance their learning outcomes.
In each class that I have taught, I like to tailor my teaching approach to individual students’ needs. I believe that all students are unique, and I like to get to know them and deliver my classes to what works best for them. Apart from teaching, I have actively participated with the school management to help build a better student environment and learning experiences. Not only are they learning academically, but they are also thriving socially and spiritually as well.

Online I teach mathematics through a combination of a whiteboard and typing on a Microsoft Word document (usage of Unicode for equations). I have access to many textbooks and past IB Math papers (Paper 1/2/3) we can go over. I am confident in teaching the Calculus sequence (Single Variable or Multivariable) in the college setting. With some personal revision I can also teach linear algebra, discrete mathematics, propositional logic, and abstract algebra. (I have many textbooks for these courses as well).
