Since childhood, I have been passionate about music, singing, and dancing along to performances on television. My musical journey began in 2001 when I started training as a pianist. In 2017, I was awarded a full scholarship to study for a Diploma in Music at SEGi College Subang Jaya, Malaysia, where I expanded my skills in classical singing and violin. I later earned a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Studies with First Class Honours from the Royal Irish Academy of Music, accredited by Trinity College Dublin, followed by a Master’s degree in Opera and Music Performance from the Conservatorium Maastricht, graduating with cum laude.

With 17 years of teaching experience, I have guided students of all levels—from beginners to aspiring professionals. Some of my students have been accepted into prestigious music colleges with full scholarships, while others have passed their piano and singing exams with distinction. I understand that not every student enjoys music lessons at first, and I take the time to communicate with both students and parents to find the best approach for each individual. My goal is to create a positive, engaging learning environment where students not only improve their musical skills but also develop confidence, creativity, and a love for music.

Beyond teaching and performing, I am a strong believer in overall well-being—I'm a yoga and Pilates enthusiast, a lover of good food, and an avid traveler. These experiences shape my teaching philosophy, helping me bring energy, discipline, and creativity into my lessons. About Me

Since I was a child I have always loved to sing and dance in front of the television. I started to train as a pianist in the year 2001. I was awarded a full scholarship to study the Diploma in Music course at the SEGi College Subang Jaya Malaysia in the year 2017, it was in the music college that I also started to pick up classical singing and violin.

I love to see my students enjoy learning music with me, especially when I notice their improvement and achievement. I love to communicate with my students to find ways to help them learn the instruments. I also love the creativity that the children have within them. I believe that a good music teacher could make children feel comfortable and happy coming to the music lessons, and they could tell their stories to the teacher through the music they play, and I love to be that teacher!

I graduated from the Conservatorium Maastricht with honors with Masters in Opera and Music Performance. Besides making music and teaching, I am a yoga and pilates fan. In addition, I love good food and enjoy traveling.

During my thirteen years of teaching, I had students who were accepted into prestigious music colleges with full scholarships; I had students who passed their piano and singing exams with distinction; and of course, I also had students who hate playing the piano and being forced to come to music lessons by their parents. In that case, I would talk to their parents and would find the best solution for the children.

My name is Egita and I am a professional singer and vocal teacher. I began my musical studies in Riga, Latvia at the age of 9.
In 2006 I completed studies as a choral conductor and entered Jazeps Vitols Latvian Academy of music in classical singing and teaching department.
In 2010 I achieved bachelor in classical singing and also a professional qualification as a singing teacher.
In same year I started my voice studies in Conservatorium Maastricht with prof. Axel Everaert.
In 2014 I finished Master in Classical singing and Master in Opera singing.
During my studies in Riga, Latvia, I have worked as a singing teacher in Vidzemes Jurmalas music and art school, as well teached private students.
Also when I came to Maastricht, during my development as a professional singer, I kept teaching singing.
I regularly participate in various courses, masterclasses and festivals, and I have an active performance schedule.

In the lessons, we will be focusing on setting or developing all the required skills for the students to be able to perform independently, understand the musical language, and explore their own sound. Focusing on posture, hand coordination, rhythm, ear training, reading scores, and improvisation. So far my musical exposure in many different genres allows me to create a lesson that is adapted to the specific needs of my students. Hello,

My name is Irina and I have been working as a professional opera singer and a singing teacher for over ten years. I recently moved from London to Maastricht where I live now with my husband and our 5 year old son.

I studied at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester and the Royal Academy of Music in London. I hold an Advanced Diploma in Opera, which is the highest qualification level (Level 8) in the UK Qualifications Framework. I performed in many prestigious venues in the UK, including Royal Albert Hall, Glyndebourne Festival Opera, Barbican, and St.Martin-in-the-Fields. I worked with Nelly Miricioiu, Jane Glover, Vladimir Jurowski, Robin Ticciati, Stéphane Denève, and many other renowned coaches and conductors.

I am currently part of the Limburg Education Tour project 'Weltatem', which is a collaboration between Het Geluid Maastricht (Romy Roelofsen and Gable Roelofsen) and Kirsten Schötteldreier.

Alongside my performing career, I also have been teaching singing. I am very passionate about teaching and I believe that music, whether it is listening to a concert, playing the guitar, or singing in the shower, is good for both our mental and physical well-being. It helps us to become more self-confident, find out more about how we can use our whole body as an instrument, to express and channel our feelings, and also to relax. It is never too early or late to start. Whatever your ability, aspiration, and age is, I am happy to explore with you both classical music and musical theatre. If you can learn how to use your voice properly you will be able to sing whatever and however, you want!

For children, I do not only teach singing but also beginners piano and basic music theory. It is very important to introduce music to the little ones from a very early age. And there are so many fun ways to learn. We discover and become little musicians through games, songs, dancing, movement, and acting.

Finally, I can offer Russian language coaching for both amateur and professional singers. Before pursuing my dream of becoming an opera singer, I graduated with a Master’s degree in Linguistics and Translation from Voronezh State University in my home city. As a result, throughout my singing and teaching career, I have also been asked to work as a Russian language coach and repertoire coach on many occasions.

Hey! I give private piano lessons for kids and adults in Maastricht. I offer piano lessons based on the individual program from the level, personal interests, and aspirations. Hello, I'm Jungmi, a professional jazz pianist and composer. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Jazz Piano and a degree in Jazz Composition from the Maastricht Conservatory. As the leader of the Little Big Jazz Orchestra, which I founded in 2022, I explore rich emotional landscapes through expressive melodies, intricate harmonies, and unique orchestrations.

My orchestra has received recognition, including a nomination for the Maastricht Jazz Awards, the Audience Award, and performances at festivals such as Jazz Out Fest and Make It Jazz Festival in Tilburg. We were also finalists for the Edmond Hustinx Prize and received an Honorable Mention at the Laren Jazz Festival 2024. Currently, we are preparing for our debut album release.

In addition to performing, I offer lessons in jazz piano, composition, and music theory. It can be jazz, pop and gospel music. Saxophone lessons:

Mathias' lessons are for both beginners and advanced students. The lessons are based on the student's desire to learn and be inspired, and it is important for him to be able to help develop and stimulate this desire.
