I specialise in teaching rap skills and lyric writing.
If you enjoy rap music and would like to learn how to improve your technique then I am here to help you!
I have many years of experience teaching, performing and recording my own music. I sing, rap, write lyrics and have performed with a band in the past.
I can cover different styles including Hip Hop and Grime.
We will also cover lyric writing where I can help you with your flows and technique to create your own original material. There is an option to get custom made beats to help you create your own original tracks.
I really enjoy teaching and like to make the lessons challenging and fun.

Jana
Hi, I’m Jana - yoga and movement therapist and mindfulness facilitator from Estonia. I’ve been practising yoga and meditation for more than 8 years, coming from hatha yoga background and enriching it with therapy methods, secular mindfulness practices and my academic background in mental health, nutrition and public health. My approach is a combination of traditions and modern science, which allowed me to create a unique mix of efficient, safe and sustainable practices.

I’m a certified yoga therapist and adaptive physical activity instructor so I’m able to tailor a practice to any needs. I’ve worked with a wide range of health problems starting from spinal disc herniations to different injuries. As a mindfulness facilitator, I’m working with stress management, including emotional reactivity, anxiety, panic attacks and many others. It is also possible to adapt the practice to individual inquiries such as improving concentration and memory, working on creativity or improving relationships or confidence.

I’ve done various of yoga-, mindfulness- and health-related courses and certifications, assisted in yoga and mindfulness study in Victoria University in Australia and currently involved in writing a research paper on mediation and yoga in collaboration with academics from different fields.

I teach hatha yoga, vinyasa, yin or restorative yoga. Although, usually my classes are the mix of different styles and approaches, including yoga and embodiment methods, mindfulness and meditation, counselling and other non-yoga techniques.

I usually teach 1- or 1,5-hour classes, individually or in groups, I can teach both online or face-to-face (outdoor or at your place). We can choose one focus (either yoga or mediation) or have a mix of everything.

I also offer nutrition and health counselling if you want to lose, gain or maintain weight, improve your eating habits or become more physically active.

Education:
Yoga Teacher Training 240 hours - Himalayan Yoga Academy, India (2017)
Yoga Therapist/Adaptive Physical Education - Institute of Oriental Rehabilitation Methods, Russia (2018)
Global Nutrition & Health - VIA University College, Denmark (to be graduated in 2021)

I’m a self-employed yoga teacher freshly installed in London. I teach vinyasa yoga as slow or fast paced as you need, with a strong focus on intertwining the rich yoga philosophy with the physical practice.

I trained as a Vinyasa Yoga Teacher in San Francisco at Laughing Lotus (now renamed Lotusland Yoga) with Jasmine Tarkeshi and Brima Jah. This teacher training was life changing for me, and as I soaked in Jasmine & Brima’s knowledge, kindness and values, I strengthened my own yoga practice and developed my own way of sharing yoga with others.

My approach to teaching can be summarized in three major commitments:
- honouring yoga’s roots: I use both sanskrit and english names for asanas, I’m passionate about yoga mythology and love sharing the stories behind my favorite shapes
- offering teachings that represent the whole yoga philosophy: yoga is so much more than a workout, my classes always have an intention to them, they tend to be focused on one or two of the chakras and include at least another of the eight limbs (pranayama, one of the yamas or niyamas, meditation...)
- making my classes accessible to various communities and identities: yoga is for all! I offer many options in every asana to make them accessible to all bodies, I always encourage practitioners to rest as needed and follow their own pace, and I avoid using gendered cues that are inherently exclusive.

I’ve lived in many places and I've worked as a medical imaging software engineer for six years. A year ago, I quit my job and spent a sabbatical year with my partner, traveling Europe in our van. This year-long journey taught me so much and reinforced my confidence that I want yoga to be a major part of my life (both professional and personal). So as we settle into our new home in London, I’m taking this opportunity to focus on my career as a yoga teacher.
