About Me

A Belgian flautist and piccolo player, I regularly perform with international orchestras such as the Oslo Philharmonic and the Belgian National Orchestra. Trained in several countries, I have developed a rich and varied musical approach, which I share through concerts and chamber music projects, notably with the Ensemble Mnémosys.

I have just finished my studies at the Conservatoire de Liège as an optional didactic master in flute. With a three-year experience in teaching, both in flute and musical awakening, this job is a pleasure for me.

My name is Apolline, I am a 26-year-old flautist and I am studying in the first year of a didactic master at the Royal Conservatory of Liège. I love to teach, and I used to be a flute teacher, I even started teaching when I was 17! For everyone who wants to make the sounds of the flute sound to his or her hand! Since the age of nine I have been playing the flute, mainly classical. In 2015 I came into contact with the Brazilian music style 'chorinho', which I immediately fell in love with. This music style is extremely rich in melodies and rhythms, and in my experience is a good and fun addition to the classical repertoire, also for ensemble playing. I attended the Conservatory of Classical Composition with flute as main instrument, and I went to Brazil twice to improve my chorinho playing. I like to help young and old to make playing the flute one of the best activities, at both hobby level and professional level!
