Introduce your child to music: a qualified pedagogy teacher offers musical initiation
From 123.4 C$ /h
I offer musical initiation lessons, fun and instructive, for children from 6 years old.
Through multiple games and activities (singing, piano, rhythm and improvisation), children learn and discover music while having fun!
My method: a global approach to music, to promote the motivation of the child (he learns while having fun) and his development. This method will allow him to work on his memory, his listening or his motor skills.
Thanks to games, the child learns to read notes, to put his voice, to reproduce rhythms, to listen ... while having a good time.
I adapt these activities according to the child's age, strengths and difficulties.
By giving your child the basics of music theory, singing and piano, these lessons constitute a complete musical initiation and can perfectly prepare an entry into a conservatory or a music school.

Extra information
Every child is different, but I recommend 30 minute lessons for the youngest children (6-8 years old), then 45 minutes for the older ones or the more motivated!
It is quite possible to organize group classes, if you have two children for example.
I give classes easily at my home in the city center of Lausanne (Riponne).
If you have a piano, I can also come to your place.
See you soon !

About Me
I graduated with a Master's degree in vocal pedagogy in 2019. I am passionate about all aspects of teaching! I think I am a smiling, caring, positive person. Kindness is one of my fundamental values for teaching.
As an independent teacher, I also perform in concerts in the region, as a soloist or in an ensemble.

Education
I started singing, piano and music theory as a child, within the Master of the Baroque Music Center of Versailles. I followed a very solid training thanks to a curriculum in schedules arranged. I subsequently continued singing in different conservatories; I got my Bachelor of Singing (Early Music) in June 2017 at the Schola Cantorum Basel.
In 2019, I obtained a Master's degree in vocal pedagogy at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne (HEMU).
I always sang a lot in chorus, which allowed me to perform very often in concert and to record several records including one rewarded with a golden tuning fork.
In addition to my piano studies as a child, I followed several years of lessons in keyboard harmony, harpsichord and basso continuo.
I am also a graduate of Sorbonne in Music & Musicology.
I also took courses in choir direction, dance, theater, various sports ... For me, an accomplished artist and a good teacher must feed on several disciplines!

Experience / Qualifications
I gave classes in Paris for about six years. I started with a small group of 3 students, and thanks to the word of mouth and the "publicity" made by my first students, the circle has grown to about fifteen students - in Solfège , lyric singing and singing variety. This confidence on the part of my students has always motivated me to surpass myself, to better understand, to explain better ... To transmit them the best things possible. Each at their own pace, of course, every student has made progress. Totally beginners in music theory are now able to decipher a score!
I then had several students during my years of study in Basel: it was then that I decided to devote myself to pedagogy! Adult singers, children apprentice pianists: again, I had students from many different backgrounds and ages. I know how to adapt! :)
I have been living in Lausanne for 7 years now, and I am an independent teacher. I give lessons every day, and it's once again very varied: children and adults in singing, music theory and piano!

Express yourself, breathe, support your voice: a singing lesson has many technical and artistic facets. With a master's degree in vocal pedagogy, it seems essential to me that learning music is a pleasant, motivating and enriching learning! Whatever your age, your level, whether you want to sing opera or musical comedy, do not hesitate to contact me for a lesson.
How is a singing lesson going?
The first half of the course is generally dedicated to working on the body and breathing, essential for singing, and to the vocalizations necessary for good technical work (we will address the questions of voice placement, support, resonance, treble...).
The second part of the course is devoted to one or more pieces. It's about applying the technical elements, but also, through working on the repertoire, developing your own musical personality and your expressiveness... and above all, having fun!
Regarding the repertoire: I give lessons in lyrical singing and musical comedy.
I can integrate musical training / ear training courses, especially through improvisation.
My journey :
Lyric singer, I have passionately given music lessons for over ten years. My taste for teaching led me to a Master's degree in Pedagogy, and I graduated in 2019 from the Haute Ecole de musique de Lausanne.
Independent teacher, I share my life between my students (singing lessons, music theory, piano, group or individual lessons, internships ... with adults and children) and concerts.
I specialize in baroque music, but I also really enjoy musical comedy and improvised singing.
Throughout my singing studies, in addition to my training as a soloist, I sang a lot in choir, which allowed me to often perform in concert and to record several discs, one of which was awarded a tuning fork. Golden.
In order to complete my musical studies, I also followed a course in music theory and piano.
I also took training in Qi Gong and Pilates, two sports disciplines that are very useful for singers.
