About Me
Attilio is an Italian jazz saxophonist born in 1999. He began studying the saxophone at the age of seven. Raised in a family passionate about jazz, he became interested in bebop, hard bop and fusion from an early age, actively frequenting the local jazz scene. At the age of nine,
he was admitted to the conservatory to study classical saxophone, but very quickly, his passion
for jazz led him to move away from classical studies.
In 2017, he began his studies at Siena Jazz University, where he obtained a bachelor's and master's degree
in jazz saxophone. It was during this period that he developed a passion for free jazz and contemporary jazz.
His collaboration with Silvia Bolognesi led to performances in major European clubs and
festivals with the group Young Shouts, with whom he released the album Alive Shouts.
This project enabled him to establish himself on the international scene as a sideman and
improviser.
At the same time, Attilio released ‘Héritage Normand’ in 2023 and ‘Spellbound’ in 2025, two
works in which he explores the dialogue between traditional and contemporary jazz. He is
currently enrolled at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and is active on the European jazz scene.
