For beginners, we do some appropriate work on basic posture, instrument tone, and technique to build a good position as a foundation for the debut. Je suis musicien professionnel diplômé du Koninlijk Conservatorium Brussel (KCB) et professeur depuis plusieurs années.
J'ai commencé par donner des cours particuliers aux Pays-Bas parallèlement à mes études supérieures de musique là-bas. Aujourd'hui, je suis professeur au sein de deux académies de musique en Flandre où j'ai acquis plusieurs années d'expérience dans le système d'enseignement officiel flamand.
Je suis également diplômé d'un master en didactique (KCB)

Concernant l'aspect pratique, j'accorde beaucoup d'importance à la technique. C'est essentiel de commencer avec des bonnes bases dès le début pour ne pas créer des tensions musculaires inutiles et très contraignantes mais bien sûr aussi pour avoir une bonne fluidité de jeu et être à l'aise en jouant.

I have over 15 years of teaching experience, and have studied and have my Degrees from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, both in Classical Guitar as well as Historical Plucked instruments.

I regularly perform in concert halls with orchestras and groups all around Europe, perform with my own ensembles based in Brussels and Italy, and enjoy an active teaching schedule.

My aim with teaching is to find the best way to facilitate the student to find their own voice and direction, and to help steer them on their preferred road of performance. The schedule and repertoire are decided by the student, and we plot a course together depending on your goals, whether that's aiming to place into an academy or the conservatories, or if you just enjoy playing music as a hobby and wish that it accompanies you through your life!

My name is Marie, I am 28 years old and I graduated from a Masters in cello at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. The cello is my passion, my profession, my life companion. I have been teaching for several years. I have at heart to transmit my interest for this instrument; this is why I continue to train within the conservatory.

I spent a year in Denmark for a master's degree in education. An exciting year in a country where empathy is given a major role in teaching and where learning is based on the latest discoveries in neuroscience. I would like to evolve as a teacher by feeding on the pedagogies of the Nordic countries.

Beginners, intermediates, advanced, I adapt to the age and needs of each. Playing a musical instrument requires a lot of concentration and involvement. I want to bring this taste for rigor, which is not opposed to fun or creativity, while respecting the rhythm of each student.
