Writing Courses are designed for students or young adults, who need to understand the writing process, and enhance their essay writing abilities.
During the course, students will learn:
- to identify and use the stages of essay writing (brainstorming, drafting, peer editing and proofreading)
- to plan and write different types of essays (Narrative, Description, Classification, Compare-Contrast, Cause-Effect, and Argumentative essays).
- to create clear and effective thesis statement for essays.
- to write well-developed introductory, body, and concluding paragraphs with clear topic sentences and supporting details.
- to understand and use basic essential grammar and punctuation skills.

They have a better vocabulary, more ideas, higher literacy, pay attention and concentrate better. They may also promote a more self-sufficient approach to learning in general. The purpose of the course is to help children or adults to become fluent and proficient readers through fun and interactive student-centered activities. We work on different reading aspects including phonemic awareness, vocabulary learning and teaching a wide range of reading comprehension skills in order to help children to be independent and lifelong readers.
