Hello, I’m a pro singer with over 20 years of teaching experience.
Classically trained as a child and still performing, I will teach you how to use your voice in a healthy and efficient way, whether you want to sing pop, country, soul, I will guide your practice and help you find confidence while singing in public. If you’re a more advanced singer and need guidance, I will also help you to find your style and the repertoire that is right for you, or help develop your own style in the repertoire you wish.
About music theory:
It is also important for a singer to know the basics of music theory in order to find your key and communicate with other musicians. So if you want, a musical training is also available.

I am a qualified guitar, vocal and production tutor. I specialise in contemporary styles for all classes and have a modern and interactive approach to teaching music. I cater to each student individually and prefer practical rather than theory based learning.

Any level of student welcome. I have a first class degree in vocals and over 25 years professional singing experience. I will modify the class to suit the needs of the individual. There is no full size piano but a small keyboard is available for theory and pitch exercises.

I have 15 years of experience both onstage and inside studios that allow me to provide well-rounded techniques to achieve musicality and interpretation in singing as well as music theory applied to sing or separately.
I also have Music and Singing certificates (honors both) from West London University.

The students will learn vocal fundamentals to strengthen the voice and to improve voice control and sound in general, extend range, work on chest and head voice, harmonising and breathing techniques. We will do different sets of vocal exercises to improve vocal abilities and work on different songs to put all the theory and exercises in to practice.

Performance coaching covers many areas, from being in a band to public speaking and simply developing confidence in daily life.

I teach guitar and other instruments, singing, songwriting, song arranging, stage presence techniques ( yes it can be learned!) and many more aspects to bring out the best of each individual, tailoring each class to the specific needs and goals of the student.

Our singers enjoy learning in our spacious, welcoming rooms and have many opportunities to sing in our choirs, productions, jazz and other workshops throughout the year.

Lessons can be for your own pleasure or we can also prepare you for the graded examinations or auditions.

Songwriting is an essential skill in the production of any song.
Learn what it takes to write a great song that resonates with people. We will discuss the art of storytelling and discover how you can find your unique voice. Exploring how to create a strong melody and write a compelling lyric.
In this class, you will learn simple techniques on how to get the most out of your lyrics by skillfully matching the phasing and syllables with the notes of your melodies. We will look at the ways in which song structure can give your songs more depth.
I believe everyone can be trained in the art of skilled expression through songwriting.
