I am a violin teacher based in the city of Leuven.
I am a holder of a Master’s degree in Violin Performance, after studying in LUCA School of Arts – Campus Lemmensinstituut.
As a violin teacher I have 10 years of teaching experience while working in numerous music conservatories and academies, having students with ages ranging from 2 to 30 years old.
Through my experience, especially with students of early childhood, I developed teaching techniques which help children to approach music via a playful environment full of games and fun activities.
At the same time, I can offer clearly structured lessons to students of any age, interested in classical music repertoire but also in any other genre (pop, jazz, improvisation, etc.).
The lessons can be conducted in English, Russian and Greek. Binnenkort in het Nederlands! :-)

I give piano and music theory/ music writing (composition) classes in regions Brussels and Leuven.
I have studied in Italy (piano) and at Brussels Conservatoire (music writing).
I like sharing my artistic knowledge and experience with motivated students of all ages and varied backgrounds.
In my teaching method I try to focus on the strong points and qualities of the student in order to build up technical skills which will help the student to overcome difficulties in a simple and natural way.

I have always been passionate about music, I play three instruments, and I recently finished my piano studies at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in the class of Piet Kuijken. I have always found that the end goal of music was sharing, and that's why I orient myself strongly towards everything that is done in groups: chamber music, orchestra, but also teaching, via which I can also share my passion.
My course is for everyone: do you want to start from scratch? No problem, I also give lessons in music theory and musical culture which will make a perfect complement to make you a complete musician.

Hello! I am a violin student with Elisa Kawaguti at LUCA School of Arts Campus Lemmens and am currently doing my master's degree. In my lessons, I think it is most important that students have fun and feel good about themselves, which will hopefully motivate them to improve technically and musically at their own pace. Always wanted to play the violin, but it never happened?

Years of your violin not touched and now the will to pick it up again?

You are never too old to learn it or to pick it up again!
I am a violinist from Hungary - I have completed my Masters Degree in Teaching at the University of Debrecen, and in the meantime I have given violin lessons in various music schools in Hungary. I have played actively in various professional orchestras.
From this year I started the Artistic Master's program at the Lemmens Institute.
Since my first year at the university I teach private lessons, I have experience with both children and adults.

I can teach in English, Dutch, French and Hungarian. I am also following Norwegian classes, and I can give it a try in Norwegian as well.

Would you like to learn to play the violin according to the Suzuki method? Then you've come to the right place!

A HOBBY FOR EVERYONE!
What could be more fun than discovering the wonderful world of music with your child? The violin lessons start from the age of 4, where you as a parent also learn some basic techniques. This way you are fully involved in the musical education of your son or daughter! But of course you can also start with us as an adult student. Violin lessons are suitable for all ages, from 4 to 99 years old!

LEARN WHILE PLAYING :)
The violin lessons are tailored to each student. For young children we will work playfully full of fantasy and creativity!

HOW DO WE GET STARTED?
We work according to the mother tongue method of Dr. Shinichi Suzuki, where we believe that anyone can learn the language of music, just as you learn to speak. Together we create a musical environment in which music is present every day! In front of? That is not required! You don't need to be able to read notes. We start playing by ear.

PRACTICAL:
- Every week you get an individual lesson of at least 30 minutes. Fancy more? Then that is of course also possible :)
- Additional optional group lessons will start from January. We make music together and learn from each other!
- You don't have a violin yet? I will immediately help you to rent or purchase a suitable instrument.
- You can join at any time of the school year.

Playing the cello is a skill that takes some time to learn. We will get through lots of pieces and do a lot of playing in classes. In some lessons, if necessary, we will learn about music theory as well, which helps us read music better and get to know our pieces better!
