Violin Lessons for all ages in the center of The Hague

I started taking violin lessons at the age of 7. After years of training, I am currently continuing my violin studies at Utrecht Conservatory. I have also attended music theory classes for 6 years because it is very useful to have some knowledge of it when playing any instrument. If you would like, I would be more than happy to share some knowledge of music theory along with the violin lessons. Lessons are private and not in groups.

Hi everyone! I am a viola player from Belarus. I completeness my bachelor degree at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague and currently doing my masters in HKU Utrechts Conservatorium. As well as playing viola, I have a lot of knowledge about music theory, as it was accompanying me through my entire career. I would be very happy to share my knowledge with music enthusiasts of all ages and levels. Let’s create music together!

[ENGLISH BELOW] I am a Czech violinist, based in The Hague. I obtained a Master of Music degree in classical and modern violin at the Conservatory of Amsterdam with a grade of 10/10. Since then I have been working as a concert violinist, chamber musician (playing in small groups and ensembles) and as a freelancer in orchestras throughout the Netherlands. I am captain of the Doelen Ensemble in Rotterdam and a much sought-after collaboration partner for recording studios, dancers, composers of new and film music and theater makers. As a teacher I have experience in private education, special conservatory preparation and competition training, as well as as a guest teacher at the Brno Conservatory (Czech Republic). I play both classical acoustic violin and electric violin. In my classes I offer both traditional classical music training (technique and classical music pieces) based on my 20 years of work and study with leading teachers and violin virtuosos (the best of the Czech, American and Russian schools of technique), as well as lessons for those who only have enough want to learn to play and improvise with their favorite songs by their favorite singer. We will use the violin in all musical genres and base our curricula on your wishes, dreams and ambitions, always designing your tailor-made learning path together and adapting if necessary. I like to work with all ages, learning difficulties or various physical abilities; music is open to everyone and above all should be a fun way to connect with others and the world. ----------------------- I am a Czech violinist based in The Hague. In my lessons I offer both traditional classical music training (teaching technique and pieces of classical music) based on my 20 years of work and studies with leading teachers and violin virtuosos (the best of Czech, American and Russian school of technique), but also lessons tailored for those who wish to learn just enough to play their favorite songs from their favorite singer, and improvise along with it. We will use the violin in all genres of music and base our learning plans on your wishes, dreams and ambitions, always custom-designing your learning trajectory together and adjusting as needed along the way. I am happy to work with any ages, learning differences or diverse physical abilities, music is open to all, and most of all, should be a fun way to connect with others and the world.

Anything that is part of a fundamental understanding of music, e.g. music theory, solfège, rhythm and piano will be taught. For me it is very important that the lessons is specifically made for the students regarding content and length. If asked violin and ballett can be taught as well. In that way the necessary aspects of a well rounded musician can be built up.

My violin classes are open to people of all ages and levels. You may have used to play the violin many years ago and are trying to get back at it but don't know how, you may have just started and you're looking for a teacher that can guide your first steps, you may be looking for regular coaching for an already developed sense of musicality — my classes accommodate all of the above and more. Most of my pupils are already intermediate students who are dedicated to becoming the young violinists of the future, but that doesn't mean my class isn't for you if you are simply looking for a hobby! Music is about having fun together! I can teach in English (fluent), Portuguese (fluent), Spanish (fluent) or French (basic).

Teacher at Strijkdomain (The Hague), Conservatory in The Hague, Vuurvlinderschool, Geldelandschool en a Het Klooster (Woerden). I was under the tutelage of the great violin pedagogue Mr. Mauricio Fuks at Indiana University (USA) for 3 consecutive years (2018-2021) becoming his teaching assistant for 3 years (2018-2021). Moreover, I have taught young violinists in Elementary Schools, (e.g. Fairview Elementary School) and also collegiate students in the Jacobs School of Music (US). In Spain, I have teaching experience in several music schools instructing violinists ranging from 3 to 70 years of age. I have also worked with ADHD and autistic students with a great passion for violin playing and music-making. I hold a master's in Violin Performance at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag and in Psychology and Music (UNED). I have an excellent command of English, and Dutch and a good working knowledge of French. I base my teaching method on Suzuki and Galamian methods, which I combine with a wide repertoire of progressive violin pieces. Come and have a lesson with me!

Hello music enthusiasts! I believe that playing an instrument is a very unique gift and a great tool for developing concentration, expression, and creativity. I would like to take an individual approach with everyone and make sure that the lessons are productive and above all creative, because that's the appeal of music, that we can be the creators of something very beautiful! I would like to cultivate interest in different styles and give space to build and help in the learning process, giving tools for developing technique and musicality, so that you will feel free to express your interpretation and as well, I will try to give you motivation and inspiration. I am teaching all levels, all ages, all kind of stile on the violin or viola. Of course mostly classical, but if you wish we can also play folk, pop or other kind of songs. We can focus on playing, on musicality, technical skills, chamber music, as you wish. We could also do general music education, or basic practical musical skills and training the ears. I don't use one specific method since I feel every person function differently I i like to design something personal what works the best.

Violin lesson

The violin has been with me for a long time. I love to teach everything I learn. I adapt to all levels. It doesn't matter if there is no experience! The desire to learn is the only thing you need for these classes. Through all my professional experience, teaching, participating in orchestras, and my training, I have learned a lot about this wonderful thing that is music.

My lesson will depend on each student's goal. If you are a student who wants to learn an instrument as a hobby and has never had contact with an instrument before, I will teach you the basics (from holding the violin and bow and playing easy tunes on the violin to teaching how to read notes and rhythms). If you are a student with years of experience and already know the basics, I can help you with the repertoire you are playing, or give you and prepare new pieces with you, I will help you improve your practice sessions and help you prepare auditions or performances. I give lessons in English or Portuguese but can also manage to speak Spanish
