This course is intended for everyone and can take different forms:
- introduction to piano and music theory for beginners (children or adults)
- resumption of contact with the instrument after a period of shutdown
- home support for students of a conservatory or music school wishing additional support
- classical piano or music theory lessons for children or adults
- preparation for competitions

The repertoire worked on during the lessons can be either at the choice of the student, or proposed by myself. The lessons can cover a wide choice of music ranging from classical music to current music through world music.

Holder of a Master's degree in concert and a Master's degree in piano accompaniment from the Geneva University of Music, Thibaut trained with several internationally renowned teachers: Christophe Bukudjian at the conservatory of Saint-Maur-des- Fossés, Hervé Billaut at the CNR in Lyon, Ann Schein at the Aspen Music School (Colorado) and Dominique Weber at the HEM in Geneva.
In parallel to his studies, Thibaut has performed as a soloist in many venues in Monaco, Nice, Dublin, Aspen, Paris ...
For several years, Thibaut has been perfecting his teaching method by transmitting his passion for music to students during private lessons.

About Me

Born in Epernay, France, Thibaut began his piano studies at the Academy of Music
from Monaco. He then trained with Christophe Bukudjian in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés and
by Hervé Billaut in Lyon.
In 2015 he joined the Geneva University of Music to study
Dominique Weber. After obtaining a master's degree in concert in 2020, Thibaut obtained a second master's degree
specializing in piano accompaniment in the class of Nina Uhari and James Alexander.

Directly after his graduation, Thibaut was hired for the 2022 academic year as a support worker for the
vocal department of the Geneva University of Music.
He then began, alongside his solo activity, a career with singers as
as accompanist and choirmaster, notably in various productions in Switzerland and France
(La bohème, Il barbiere di Siviglia, Carmen, La Belle Hélène...).
In duo with the mezzo-soprano Valérie Pellegrini, he was a finalist in the Mahler competition in Geneva in
2022. He will be invited the same year to the Young Artist Vocal Academy at the Houston Grand Opera
(USA).
The following year he participated as a pianist/vocal conductor in the Exzellenz Labor Oper in
Weikersheim (Germany).

He benefited from the advice of renowned personalities from the world of music through various
masterclass: Gustavo Beytelmann, François Frédéric Guy, Jeff Cohen, Philippe Bianconi, Patrick
Summers, Gabriel Tacchino, Pascal Rogé, Erik Tawaststjerna, Peter Csaba, Peter Nagy, Avedis
Kouyoumdjian...

Thibaut has performed as a soloist or in chamber music at numerous festivals in
across Europe: at the Prince's Palace in Monaco, at the "C'est pas classique" festival in Nice, during a
private reception given in Dublin (Ireland) by HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco, in the Spring
Monte-Carlo Arts Festival, Bastia Music Festival, La Sarraz Festival (Switzerland),
Lucca Music Festival (Italy), at the Rouen Transeuropean Festival, at the Hochschule
from Frankfurt (Germany), to Andros (Greece), to the Victoria Hall in Geneva (Switzerland)...

As a laureate of the Princess Grace Foundation, he was invited for two consecutive seasons to
the Aspen Music Festival in Aspen (USA).
In January 2025, Thibaut made his debut as a choirmaster on the stage of Victoria Hall in
Geneva with the choir of the Comédie Lyrique Romande.

Thibaut has been appointed pianist/vocal coach for the 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 seasons at the studio of
the Rhine Opera in Strasbourg.

Holder of a Master of Concert obtained from the Geneva University of Music (HEM) and a Master in piano accompaniment also obtained from the Geneva University of Music.

I am a cellist in the 1st year of a Master's degree at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève.
I started the piano at the age of 7. I took private lessons for 7 years and a year at the Geneva Conservatory of Music.
