Learning while having fun is tempting!
I offer you a gentle and playful approach to the trumpet, through the pleasure of playing with good sensations on the instrument.
To do this, I adapt to your desires and needs and guide you as best as possible towards your goals.

I work in the Geneva area and am studying for a Masters in Pedagogy at the Geneva University of Music.

Throughout my schooling, I was able to develop my knowledge and my pleasure of playing the trumpet. Meeting great trumpet players and teachers allowed me to understand multiple ways of approaching this instrument.

The acquisition of a degree in musicology, a DEM in trumpet and then a Bachelor in Trumpet as well as experience in different formations (reggae, French song, pop/rock, bigband, symphonic orchestra, baroque ensemble, chamber music, contemporary music, ...), plus experience as a trumpet teacher in music school, a Bafa/Juleica and a crazy love for music and in particular the trumpet, allows me to assure you that you will find something to satisfy you!

About Me
I hold a Master's degree in pedagogy and am a trumpet player in the Geneva area.
I have been giving lessons for 8 years and I would be delighted to share my experience with young and old alike!
Education
Originally from Haute-Savoie, I began playing the trumpet in local music schools. Admitted to the Grenoble Conservatory in 2013, I studied modern and natural trumpet with Jean Charles Denis. I also took composition classes with Arnaud Petit and opera singing classes with Chrystelle Chovelon. I also earned a Bachelor's degree in Musicology from the University of Grenoble. In June 2018, I obtained my Diploma of Musical Studies in trumpet and was admitted the following year to the Haute Ecole des Arts du Rhin in Strasbourg. I was then admitted to the Geneva University of Music in September 2020, where I will complete my Master's degree in pedagogy in 2025.
Experience / Qualifications
Active in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and the Geneva area, I have had the opportunity to play with symphony orchestras, chamber music ensembles, trumpet and organ recitals, and choirs. I enjoy exploring different styles with various ensembles, such as big bands, contemporary music, and modern music. From 2017 to 2019, I was also involved with the Thalie association, where I co-organized two classical music festivals in the Grenoble area, as well as two short workshops culminating in concerts in New Delhi, India. I also had the opportunity to participate in two educational projects in Cairo.

I currently teach at the Cadets of Geneva as well as in several schools in the canton.

Patient, pedagogical, and attentive to the student's needs, my lessons are structured to help them progress quickly. My motivation for teaching stems from a desire to share my passion for music with everyone.
In my courses, practice and theory have an equal place: technical exercises, clarifications in solfège, chamber music and simple pieces then more complex depending on the student's level and desires.

Indeed you are however free to choose what you wish to work on, to propose pieces as well as to deepen a particular point, a specific technique for the most experienced.

Having started playing this instrument at the age of six, my deep attraction to music developed gradually through chamber music and the orchestra.

Currently, I give private and group lessons (from musical awakening to more advanced levels) as well as concerts in different venues (churches, performance halls, hospitals, retirement homes).

I attended the CRR of Rueil-Malmaison where I obtained my Diploma of Musical Studies (DEM) a few years ago, then the Geneva University of Music (HEM) where I obtained my Bachelor's degree. Afterwards, I studied in Stockholm at the Royal Academy of Music (KMH).

For about ten years now, I have been acquiring
My experience in teaching cello and music theory is constantly evolving and requires ongoing self-reflection and a degree of adaptation. My students are of all ages and skill levels.

I offer recorder and/or music theory lessons, tailored to each student's needs. You can choose to focus on the instrument, deepen your musical understanding through music theory, or combine both for a comprehensive learning experience. For recorder, we work on breath control, fingering, articulation, posture, interpretation of early and contemporary repertoire, ornamentation, improvisation, and more. For music theory, I adapt my method to your level: reading notes and rhythms, listening skills, identifying intervals, fundamental harmonics, and understanding musical language.
