Aleksandra is a trained singer, singing teacher and choir conductor from the Academy of Music in Gdansk and Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya in Barcelona.

She took to the stage in her childhood and has been teaching music for the last 6 years.

For several years she was a chorister of the prestigious Polish National Youth Choir and leader of Vocal Quintet Solifonia. Currently, she is a choir conductor and the founder of CHOIR CLUB in Korskolen.

What can you expect from her teaching?

She believes that singing can be passion, a communication tool, a means of therapy and so much more: more than you can imagine!

In her classes, you will learn key vocal techniques as well as learning to understand your voice. You will discover the deeper meanings of the songs you sing as you seek to express them to the world.

As she is working towards becoming an Accredited Teacher of IVTOM (International Voice Teachers of Mix) she focuses on delivering teaching based on the Mix principles: by mixing the chest and head voice you receive the full benefits of “both voices”: the natural and powerful sound of the chest voice, and the beauty and range of the head voice. As a singer learns to sing using both of these resonances and trains the vocal folds to stay together, it is possible to vocalize smoothly and evenly from one register to the next. The relationship of the two elements working together will create an even, smooth vocalization and, as a result, eliminates the “breaks” in the voice.

She has a good knowledge of playing the piano, so you can sing along to her accompaniment or accompany yourself under her supervision.

About Me

Currently, in addition to teaching others, I am constantly developing myself. I am learning how to express the content of the lyrics by my sounds and to explore the possibilities of my voice, musical imagination and creativity. I would never define the style of my singing, only placing different vocal skills in the right points. My greatest dream is to always be around people who are inspiring background to make wonderful and meaningful music. My name is Karolina, and I'm a qualified vocal teacher and a professional opera singer. Since childhood, classical art has been my inspiration, and my musical journey began at the age of 7 in piano class.

After completing my Opera Master Singing Studies in Lithuania, I further honed my singing skills at the prestigious Mozarteum University in Austria. Through personal and pedagogical training, I delved into "healthy singing" – the Italian technique known as "Inhalare la voce." I apply this technique to beginners and advanced singers alike, spanning not only classical pieces but also popular songs and ballads.

Whether you're a beginner or someone with prior singing experience, I'm always delighted to offer my assistance and share my knowledge.

Hej!

I'm Marshall, an Australian violinist currently living and studying in Copenhagen. I have just started the second year of my Masters's degree at The Royal Danish Academy of Music studying with Elisabeth Schneider. Along with my studies, I am a casual violinist with the Aarhus & Göteborg Symphony Orchestras.

Prior to moving to Denmark I studied for my bachelor's degree at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music on a full scholarship and have participated in the Mozarteum International Summer Academy.

I have been teaching violin/viola since 2015 and in 2020-2021 I was employed by the West Australian Department of Education to teach violin/viola to primary school students. Each and every student is different, so I try and cater to their learning experience. Whether you're a complete beginner or already have experience with the violin/viola, I can help you with your musical journey. In each lesson, I focus on building a strong technical foundation, understanding music theory, and learning repertoire. I aim to make it a positive learning environment for both students & teachers. What we will do during our lessons together:

Music Theory lessons:
- For Beginners, we will focus on hearing and differentiating notes, rhythmic patterns, singing melodies and how to have fun with music.
- For with experience, we will focus on music theory, harmonisation, dictation and singing and how we can use them in music.

Early music education:
For the ages between 2 to 4, the parents will need to be there
Ages 2-4: We will explore different sounds and textures of the instruments, sing fun songs and play musical tools freely along with different songs.
Ages 5-6: We will sing and play different fun songs, practice melodic and rhythmical memory and play different musical games.
Ages 7-8: We will sing and play songs, practice melodic and rhythmical memory and learning musical notation.

Have you been trying to teach yourself the guitar and still find it a pain to play? Or have you been taking lessons and still feel restricted and unhappy? Do not fear, Yvette (she/her) is here to help! With my classes, not only will you learn to play with ease, you will also be able to crack the code of music, so you will understand how notes, chords, rhythm and music theory relate to each other. You will no longer be simply playing through mindless memorization or repetition. You will also learn how to listen to yourself and recognize when you have played well, and when you have made mistakes.
Although I am classically trained, I started guitar playing rhythmic music, such as nirvana and the beatles, and I still have a deep understanding of the style and have taught it for years. I aim to teach guitar the right way, without taking short cuts that limit knowledge and development later on. I have a personalised approach to each student, refusing to force them to play exactly as I do, but helping them to refine their own innate technique. I am a professional principal dramatic baritone teaching in vocal technique based on the Italian chiaro/scuro vocal technique, which basically will teach you to sing on your lips, so your voice gets projected out in the theater without use of microphone. I also teach you how to support your voice (appogio) ... so you do not go empty of air, when you have to sing longer vocal and musical lines. I basically teach you to get the absolute best vocal technique used by all of the great Italian & American opera singers from the past, which is quite important.
As an intermediate you will need 3 lessons of 1 hour per week and if you are advanced singer you will need 1 - 2 lessons per week of 1 hour each.
I teach either from my private home or I can come to you, if you have some sort of piano or keyboard instrument. I also teach at Juhl Sørensens piano factory (Steinway Denmark) at Norrebro in Copenhagen.
