In addition to my work at Bhaktivedanta College Budapest, I currently teach students at all levels over the age of 14 online or in person in the 3rd district of Budapest. I also teach adults who are complete beginners. I deal with classical music, but if my students want to learn works that can be classified in another genre, I am happy to teach them as well.

I have only given Sunday times in the timetable because I am sure to be free on that day, but other days are also possible by individual arrangement.

About Me

I started teaching shortly after graduating from the music academy. The first years of my career were spent mainly in chamber music education, and later violin and viola teaching became my main profile. I have taught in primary, secondary and higher education institutions as well as in the private sector. My youngest student was 4 years old and the oldest was 72.

Violin is a great instrument. To play music on this instrument is the best feeling ever. I am a professional violinist, graduated as a performer and violin teacher in Budapest Franz Liszt Music Academy and studied also in the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Are you looking for an experienced violin teacher for yourself or your child? I am a professional violinist and violinteacher with extensive teaching experience. I give violin lessons from beginners to advanced level for all ages online or in person. For more than twenty years, I have been successfully teaching children, young people and adults alike to achieve their goals on the violin. I help them along the basics, mastering a certain piece of their choice, a music style or playing chamber music, preparing for an exam or audition.
I work with children in a fun, playful way, considering their own tempo of progress, their ability to concentrate, and their individual interests. Starting from the basics, through secure violin and bow holding, we progress through easy but enjoyable small pieces to more complex pieces of music. From the beginning, I put a lot of emphasis on developing a beautiful violin sound. Integrated into the lessons, we learn reading the music notes and music theory, musical understanding, and expression.
I welcome adults as well, whether active, improve your level or beginners! With them, we can discover other musical styles besides the classical style, such as country, klezmer or Irish music. Chambermusic ensembles (trio, quartet) are also welcome, with them we will develop rehearsal techniques and intonation.
