As a professional pianist with a passion for teaching, I have been teaching piano and music theory for 10 years now, at conservatories, music schools, and private lessons. I hold a performance license from the Rouen Conservatory and a master's degree in teaching from the Institut Supérieur de Musique et de Pédagogie de Namur. I adapt to each student's profile so that they can flourish musically!

My name is Juliette, a young professional violinist who obtained my master's degree at the Brussels Conservatory in 2018 in the class of Shirly Laub. With my experience, I offer violin and music theory lessons. I have been teaching the violin for 10 years, while continuing my activity as a substitute at the National Orchestra of Belgium and at the Brussels Philharmonic. I adapt my lessons to each student, by offering courses focused on technique or more free, according to each person's expectations. My adaptability extends to all levels and all ages!

Individual lessons at my flat in Rue Breydel (Schuman). I have a long experience of teaching, as well as playing and giving lecture recitals. One of my pupils came second in the 'Grand Concours pour les Amateurs' in Paris, and others won prizes for the highest Grade 8 ABRSM. But I am also experienced at teaching beginners and helping them to read music, using new and old methods. If you want to play the piano, then I am ready to help you!

Are you a beginner?? No worries: no experience is required! 😁 I can teach you the basics to produce sounds with your saxophone: position of the embouchure (teeth, tongue, lips and vocal cords' position, an element often forgotten), fingerings, use of diafragma,... After the first two lessons spent on the mouthpiece and neck for the sound production, we will immediately start to play some super easy duos together to practice your capacity of listening, pay attention to the other, ear training as well. I normally use the book of Peter Wastall (titled Learn as you play) as support, but it is not mandatory. There are plenty of good books btw! Are you an intermediate / advanced student?? I am sure you can still improve in all the basics, but on a different level. I'll teach you the importance of the "voicing" (technique named by the american saxophonist and pedagogue Donald Sinta) to improve your sound production and projection as well as the capacity of correcting and improving the intonation. You can learn all about phrasing and music interpretation, from tonal music until contemporary atonal compositions. And still, you can improve your playing together, practicing in duo on different aspects like tuning, balance, interpretation, performance etc. Book a lesson and try! Hello! My name is Marcos, I am a clarinetist and I live in Brussels. I offer private lessons in person (they can be at your place or mine) or online. I have experience as a teacher for the last few years with children, adults, individual and group classes. Professional or amateur level. In my lessons, I help students find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of auditory skills, a sense of rhythm and optimal use of the body, allowing them to connect with their musical imagination. Pianist and musicologist, I have been teaching piano in all styles (classical, jazz, film and popular music) to students of all ages for almost 20 years. The primary goal of this course is to make you enjoy playing in your spare time without having to practice too much. - a professional course: in this course I will help you reach the level of a professional musician. I will give you an insight of how to prepare a piece or pieces for a competition or an audition. I will also teach a lot of theory and solfege so that you can prepare for a conservatory or a school of music.

Available for beginner and advanced students that want to learn jazz or pop saxophone and music theory. The class will be adapted for each student, after an evaluation of their level and goals. For the beginners: it is required to have a saxophone, a mouthpiece and reeds. Together it will be possible to find the best gear for the student. I will provide for each student personalized didactic material, that will be made lesson by lesson. The focus of the classes will be: technique, repertoire (jazz, for those interested to jazz and pop for those interested to pop), sound exercises, improvisation, transcribing and composing.

I am a professional oboist with over 20 years of specialised music education in England, Germany, and Belgium and performing experience with some of the best orchestras in the world including the London Symphony Orchestra, Gurzenich Orchestra in Koln, and National Orchestra of Belgium. I have experience teaching young children, teenagers, and adults as well as giving group lessons. I offer private one on one lessons either in my home or yours (and at the moment via webcam) with a focus on fun, musical fluency, gaining confidence in technique, and learning repertoire. Whether you're a complete beginner or more advanced, feel free to take some lessons with me and we can work on whatever area you would like to improve on. I believe that learning an instrument should be fun and enjoyable so lessons are student-centred and always with an encouraging atmosphere. I also offer music theory lessons for school children to support their musical education and any exams they might be taking. Piano lessons for the complete beginner - my main instrument is the oboe but if you'd like to start learning the piano, I can give lessons in your home and get you started with the basics!

I have been a passionate teacher in Italy for six years and I have now moved to Brussels to pursue a Postgraduate Course in Piano Accompaniment at Koninklijk Conservatorium.
