I offer piano lessons in English, French or Italian for students of all ages and levels. Lessons focus on developing technique, musical understanding, listening skills, and artistic expression. My teaching is grounded in the Faber Piano Adventures method and enriched with creative activities such as improvisation, four-hand duets, and simple composition exercises. Each lesson is adapted to your interests and pace, whether you are learning for personal enjoyment, creative exploration, or to support other musical practices. For more advanced students, I also incorporate selected excerpts from Mikrokosmos by Béla Bartók, as well as pieces from the classical repertoire chosen in dialogue with the student. As a conservatory-trained singer and composer with five years of teaching experience, I bring a dynamic, relational approach that connects instrumental technique with creativity and personal expression. Lessons take place in the student’s home in Ghent, Brussels, and nearby areas, and last 30, 45, or 60 minutes depending on age and level.

I am familiar with the classical and jazz repertoire as well as with 20th and 21st-century music. I'm passionate about introducing this beautiful and exciting field of art and its related knowledge. My method is based on a freer and less academic approach than that of music theory for those who wish to develop their musical ear without prior classical knowledge (Although we will do a little bit of it anyway but in a simplified way). You will discover that it is not necessarily necessary or obligatory to know how to read a score to play music. A lot of professional musicians (Paul McCartney for example) do not know how to read notes! I will help you get familiar with harmony and rhythm. We will learn how to compose simple and then more complex melodies and chords in all their various forms with the right hand. And we will also see how to accompany with the left hand. We will do all this from a piece of your choice (whether classical or modern that we will play in a simple way and then enrich it step by step!
