My love for this wonderful instrument and my extensive experience have made it possible to achieve many successes with my students, such as helping them pass auditions for music schools and music colleges, as well as receive very good results in competitions.

From personal experience, having changed my violin-playing technique several times, I put emphasis on the bow-hold, holding of the violin, and playing with the left hand. I strive for, as much as possible, a relaxed body during playing. My favorite part of teaching is discovering how to interpret individual musical pieces along with the students, so every feeling and every story is reflected in the sound. I am very thankful that I have had the opportunity to learn from so many excellent musicians who have always treated music as fantasy that has not limits.

Hello! My name is Monique, I am from Australia and have been playing violin and viola for over 20 years! My native language is English, however I have a fair level of German, so this is also possible.

I studied both ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) and AMEB (Australian Music Education Board) Violin. I am currently working on my ABRSM Diploma. Back in Australia I play the viola in a string quartet. We perform at weddings and corporate events. If you are interested in learning viola, this is also possible.

Beginners are very welcome! I am passionate about making lessons fun and accessible for everyone.
