About Me

It is not easy to play the violin, but as a trained teacher, I know methods and little tricks that make the path to success easier for students.

4 years ago I completed my studies in violin concert in Moscow.
The course also included pedagogy as a focus and 4 years of pedagogical internship.

During my studies I took part in several concerts as a soloist and orchestra player.

I have been teaching violin and chamber music for 8 years. At the beginning I assisted my violin professor and for the last 3 years I have been teaching as a freelance teacher.

At the moment I continue to perform as a soloist and ensemble player.

I am a Greek violinist, originally from Thessaloniki. I have lived in Vienna since 2009 and completed my studies at the MUK Private University in the class of Lidia Baich. Before that, I studied at the Gnessin Institute in Moscow.

It's especially important to me to offer my students the opportunity to experience music and express themselves in this beautiful language during lessons. Hi, my name is Atsu and I'd love to pass on my knowledge, my experiences and my passion to you! I started playing the violin when I was three and up until now I've studied with Fuminori Shinozaki and Simon Wiener, amongst others.

I gladly offer my assistance to you, so that you can achieve your goals efficiently. Here, it's important for me to discover your strengths together and help you develop them further. Of course, I will make sure that you have fun and you stay motivated:) Probably what's special about my lesson is that we're also going to play duets, which should help you learn to listen to other musicians and acquire the skills needed for playing in an ensemble.

In the long run: it's not just about learning the rules and correct techniques; it is also vital that you eventually learn to interpret the music on your own personal way by using your (musical) intelligence, and to have the confidence to break traditional norms. It is through the hands of artists who dare to experiment that music (like all art forms) becomes alive.
