My teaching is largely derived from that of my teacher, Robert Expert, a former biologist who became a renowned singer and singing teacher (CNSMDL, CRR 93, CRB).

It is based on the most scientific approach possible and aims at helping students understand the mechanisms that allow them to sing:
- the functioning of breathing;
- how to manage physical exertion and what implications this has on the whole body;
- what are the resonators;
- how to produce a projected, unamplified sound (in the context of operatic singing)
- learn to stop before hurting yourself and to respect your instrument
- etc ...
