I am currently continuing my training at the Richard Cross School in Paris to continuously refine my teaching methods and techniques. My goal is to help you develop your voice with joy, awareness, and authenticity, in a supportive and motivating environment!

The courses are aimed at anyone wishing to explore, develop or rediscover their voice in a caring, inclusive and respectful space, including in paths of vocal transition or reappropriation.

About Me

Music has been part of my life since childhood. From a very early age, I was fascinated by instruments, voices, sound worlds, and everything music can convey. Over the years, I have developed an eclectic musical universe, shaped by a wide variety of styles, and a deep sensitivity to what moves us, what resonates, and what connects us.

As a singing teacher and vocal coach, I enjoy supporting each person in a sensitive and tailored way. To me, the voice is an intimate and living space of expression, deeply connected to the individual. My role is to help each person explore it with confidence, without judgment, in a kind and respectful environment.

My experience as a singer, songwriter, and performing and recording artist for more than 10 years deeply informs the way I teach and share my knowledge. I am also continuing my training at the Richard Cross school in Paris, with the desire to keep enriching my pedagogy and to support voices with ever greater depth and nuance.

Experience / Qualifications

Singer, songwriter, and singing teacher, I have over 10 years of professional voice experience, both on stage and in the studio. My background notably includes participation in The Voice Belgique, experience as a backing vocalist, notably for Zap Mama, as well as the development of my French-language pop solo project, MPLI.

I have also worked as a TV presenter at RTBF and done voice-over work, which has strengthened my command of vocal modulation, expression, interpretation, and presence. This diversity of experience allows me to support students not only in singing, but also in vocal expression, stage presence, and preparation for live performance or studio work.

Since 2025: professional training in vocal pedagogy at the Richard Cross school in Paris (two-year program, currently nearing completion), with a focus on person-centered pedagogy and vocal health.

My name is Matteo Schifanoia, I am a songwriter, pop and jazz singer, and vocal coach with 20 years of experience in music. I offer singing lessons for all levels. My teaching method is the result of the synthesis of my experience as a singer and the many and diverse study paths followed.
