About Me

Singer, songwriter, and singing educator.
Teti is a Greek singer and songwriter who lives in Brussels and works in Europe and in Greece as well.
Teti was born in Athens and after taking guitar lessons and participating in many choirs and music groups for several years, she studied singing with Areti Topouzidou and French Literature and Language at Aristoteles University and Bologna University. In 2008 she began working as a professional and two years later participated in the recording of the second album of Graviton and of the first album of the Greek composer and violinist Dimitris Kouzis. Following that, she collaborated with many Greek composers as Marios Strofalis, Panagiotis Margaris, and Nikos Doukas, and with many bands as Graviton, Antidotum Tarantulae(Music of South Italy), and Mare Libre. In 2014, she joined forces with select musicians forming a band known as Teti Quartet, which started by interpreting songs from various areas of the world. Gradually she has extended her concerts around Greece in the most important music scenes and theaters as Half Note Jazz Club, Numismatic Museum, Guizi Foundation of Santorini, and many Festivals.
Besides that, her repertoire consists of World Music, and has always displayed a keen interest in exploring international repertoire.
She is also a songwriter and she wrote lyrics and music for several songs in her First Album released in 2016 in Greece with the signature of one of the most important musicians Thymios Papadopoulos

My name is Matteo Schifanoia, I am a songwriter, pop and jazz singer, and vocal coach with 20 years of experience in music. I offer singing lessons for all levels. My lessons focus on developing body, muscle, and vocal awareness, which helps us perceive and consider our bodies as musical instruments.
My teaching method is the result of the synthesis of my experience as a singer and the many and diverse study paths followed. The lesson is structured in two parts: the first half devoted to vocal technique, the second half to the musical repertoire and learning the musical language (jazz or pop or other genre).

The vocal technique that I propose is a basic technique for all types of modern singing: from postural education to the care of breathing, from the use of abdominal muscles, to the emission of air to the resonance cavities. We will work on the sound, on the extension of the voice, on the high and low notes, on the passage of register, on the control, on the power and agility.
From a repertoire perspective, the lessons will be tailored to the student's needs and interests, with an emphasis on proper stage presence and posture. These courses are intended for singers of levels, beginners to intermediates who wish to improve their vocal skills, as well as for people wishing to better control their voice and gain confidence in situations such as public speaking.

The course is generally carried out in two parts:

A first part devoted to vocal development and technique centered on three essential points:
The agility, placement and connection of vocal registers.
After a complete warm-up based on bodily and vocal exercises, I offer you technical exercises adapted to your needs and your level. My role is to give you the keys and directions to achieve your goals as quickly and with maximum pleasure. This part of the work is essential and should in no way constitute an obstacle to learning, which is why I listen to your desires and feelings to best adapt the technical work and make it a real daily ritual.

A second part completely focused on interpretation. Let's not forget, the goal of this class is to sing! And the best key to progress and to sing what you like.
