I make sure that in my lessons students find a safe place to be able to dare to step out of their comfort zone to develop their voices and find pleasure in singing.

Hi, I'm Federica, I am Italian, and I am a Jazz piano player and singer. I studied at the Royal Conservatory of the Hague and I just completed a master in Vocals and Piano at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I give Jazz/Pop/Classical Piano lessons but my main goal is to try to give the student a general understanding of the music to approach every style and to have fun with music! I love to work with children, I like to teach them good values like patience, self-confidence, trust, communication, and collaboration, all through music. That's what I learn every day by studying music and that's what I would like to transfer to my students. I've been told that If you have music in your life, you can't be a bad person. You'll learn how to use the voice in the proper way, starting by your natural speech and developing it to find your own sound. I have experience in both Pop and Jazz styles (a Bachelor in Jazz Singing and a degree in Jazz Composition), so it's possible to study songs from both this repertoires. I also give Music Theory Lessons, to make the student develop his/her own style and musical sensibility and, in the case of Jazz, to know how to improvise on different chord changes and jazz styles.

Each voice is different and each person approaches art in their own way. In our piano and singing lessons, we aim to find the best possible way to realize your musical goals. The knowledge my teachers at the Conservatorium impart to me is fresh and ready to be shared. I like to create a comfortable environment where one feels excited to sing/play the piano and challenge themselves. We will go over the techniques of singing, vocal health, other vocal skills, understanding of harmony, and bringing out emotion while singing.

I completed my conservatory training in Jazz Singing at the CvA, but I have worked in many other genres in recent years. I also studied guitar at the Conservatory and obtained my propaedeutic diploma there, after which I switched to singing at the Conservatory. .

In class we focus on what you want. I can teach you everything about singing, guitar, but also about music theory, song-writing, and playing other instruments such as bass guitar, piano and drums.
I teach everyone, from beginners to people who want to prepare for the entrance exam to the Conservatory.
You choose the genre! I have experience in almost all genres so we can focus on the music you like.

I have 12 years of experience in performing and have performed with the Metropool Orchestra, played at festivals such as Concert at Sea and performed in hundreds of theaters and stages across the country. I also have experience with recording albums and songwriting.

Hi! I’m Emily, a classically trained singer from Hong Kong, currently in my fourth year of the Bachelor’s programme in Voice at the Utrecht Conservatorium. With 8 years of vocal training and a strong love for performing, I’m passionate about helping others experience the joy of music.

I’ve spent years teaching at the National Conservatory of Music in Cuba, performing as a soloist, with choirs, and in ensembles of various formats, sharing stages nationally and internationally. My experience spans classical, jazz, salsa, and traditional Cuban music

I’ve just arrived in Amsterdam and I’ve recently started learning Dutch and I am getting more confident in English.
