Do you dream of learning music professionally based on deep understanding and not just imitation? Do you want to confidently master playing or singing, and gradually move from a beginner level to a truly advanced level? I offer comprehensive and integrated online music lessons, based on a clear and well-thought-out curriculum that starts with you from absolutely zero, even if you have never held a musical instrument before, and takes you step by step towards an advanced and professional level, with careful individual follow-up that ensures your real development. I am a music teacher with a master's degree in music, and a performer with practical experience in both performance and teaching. I believe that everyone can learn music if guided in the right way. My goal is not just to teach you to play or sing, but to help you understand music as a complete language and express yourself through it confidently and professionally. Teaching areas include: Piano: Learn the basics of playing, reading from sheet music, correct technique, and progress to performing advanced pieces. Oud: Understanding the maqams, plectrum techniques, controlling expression, and playing in an authentic oriental style. Guitar: The basics of playing, rhythms, chords, and playing songs correctly and smoothly. Singing: A comprehensive vocal training that includes self-control, pitch improvement, correct pronunciation, and performance development. Eastern Maqams: A practical and theoretical study of maqams, how to move between them, and their use in playing, singing, and improvisation. Music theory: Understanding musical notation, rhythm, scale, and harmony in a simplified and practical way. Solfège: Reading sheet music, auditory training, musical dictation, and significantly strengthening the musical ear. The educational program is based on the principle of organized progression, where learning is divided into clear stages: Phase 1: Building the foundation from scratch, getting acquainted with the machine or sound, and understanding the basic principles. Phase Two: Developing technical skills and starting practical application through exercises and musical works. The third stage: Reaching an advanced level that includes musical expression, playing with confidence, and the ability to perform pieces or songs in a complete manner. The fourth stage: the stage of relative professionalism, where the student becomes able to rely on himself, analyze music, and improvise, especially in Eastern music. What makes these lessons unique: A clear methodology that takes you from zero to professional in a gradual and well-thought-out manner. A simple yet in-depth explanation, suitable for all levels. Focus on practical application, not just memorization. Combining playing instruments and singing to develop a complete musical sense. Developing a musical ear and the ability to distinguish between tones and scales. Building the student's self-confidence and encouraging them to perform and express themselves. The teaching method is interactive and personalized, with each lesson tailored to the student's level and goals, whether learning is a hobby, developing a specific skill, or reaching a professional level. Customized exercises, continuous monitoring, and careful performance correction are provided to ensure genuine progress. The lessons are suitable for children, teenagers, and adults, and no prior experience is required. They are also suitable for those with a foundation who wish to develop their skills systematically and professionally. The lessons are delivered online in high quality, using clear teaching methods and direct communication to ensure student understanding and progress in each session. Assignments and exercises are also given between sessions to reinforce learning and accelerate development. If you are looking for genuine learning that starts with you from scratch and confidently leads you towards professionalism, with continuous support and proper guidance, then these lessons are the right choice for you. Start your musical journey now, and give yourself the opportunity to discover and develop your abilities in a professional and thoughtful way.

Piano Lessons in Classical and Contemporary Styles for Beginning-Advanced Levels (ages 6 and up)Translate this text using Google Translate.

Welcome to my piano teaching studio! I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons for students of all levels. As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the learning process. If the student is interested in a more structured approach, I guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) piano and music theory exams where my students consistently receive highest marks. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions, masterclasses, and competitions in the Europe, the USA, India, and Canada. We have class concerts at Pianos Maene for interested students twice per year. I am happy to provide either a more relaxed or a serious approach to learning piano, we simply need to discuss the personal goals and preferences of each student. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate performance degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music” (under the guidance of esteemed professor Sergei Edelmann). Prior to this, I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis (with Prof. Lydia Artymiw) and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth (with Dr. Tamas Ungar). My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and collaborative member in several orchestras, and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio in central Antwerp and look forward to meeting new students.

Online Classes of Piano, Keyboards and Musical LanguageTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Online Classes of Piano, Keyboards and Musical LanguageTranslate this text using Google Translate.

The Tecla y Música Workshop is a space designed to learn and develop your musical and expressive sense through the piano and / or keyboards. The main objective is to learn to make music and enjoy the learning process and its results. The material with which we work (songs, instrumental pieces and exercises) is mainly oriented to your musical taste, and the choice is based on gradually expanding your technical and expressive possibilities, while exploring different musical styles. In this way, different tools are being incorporated to achieve, in a short term, mastery and fluency over the musical language and the instrument. Given that each student has different interests and concerns, whether playing as a hobby or developing a professional career, composing, improvising, etc., the orientation of the classes is built according to the possibilities and particular needs of each case. The work proposal implies a weekly class frequency to achieve optimal work dynamics and that the results are visible in a short term. There is also the possibility of taking isolated classes in order to solve a specific objective such as developing and perfecting some particular aspect of music practice and / or theory as well as preparing instrument exams or theoretical subjects for institutions of musical studies.

Let’s Make Music Together – Learn Piano the Fun & Easy Way! 🎶 Hi there! I’m Kenric—a medical student and passionate pianist who believes that learning music should be exciting, not overwhelming. I specialize in making piano approachable, fun, and deeply rewarding for students of all ages. I have completed Grade 8 in Piano Performance from ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music), and I’m currently pursuing my ATCL diploma in Piano Performance from Trinity College London, which is equivalent to the first year of a music degree. My training blends both classical rigor and real-world performance, enabling me to teach with both technique and heart. I’ve had the joy of performing across various community and school events, both as a soloist and accompanist, and I love bringing that performance mindset into lessons in a relaxed, confidence-boosting way. In addition to classical repertoire, I also enjoy teaching pop and worship music, tailoring lessons to your personal interests. My teaching philosophy is all about simplifying complex music theory, so you only learn what’s truly useful at your level—because let’s face it, music theory shouldn’t feel harder than rocket science! Whether you’re a total beginner or brushing up after years away from the keyboard, I’d love to help you (or your child) discover the joy of playing the piano. Let’s make this musical journey fun and fulfilling—are you ready to start?

Private course of Piano/Composition/Computer Music with AppMuseTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Private course of Piano/Composition/Computer Music with AppMuseTranslate this text using Google Translate.

< Learning Piano is not merely about playing the piano > Before starting to learn the piano, it’s essential to recognize that : '' What we are actually learning is "Music", but not only "Piano". '' The goal of learning any instrument is to acquire the language of music, enabling us to express ourselves and enjoy music with others. Playing the piano is for creating beautiful sounds, not really for developing finger speed or strength. That’s the function of gym. < Music is like cooking > When we cook, to make roast beef tender, of course, it’s nice to have a tender heart, but without knowing how to control the temperature, the roast beef won’t become tender merely by our tender heart. By only adding salt, the dish won’t be sweet. Similarly, simply playing or writing a C major triad chord won’t convey a sorrowful feeling. To create the feeling we want, no matter how much sentiment we have in our hearts, to convey it via music, it needs to be translated into the language which the piano can understand, which means, how we press and lift the keys and pedals. Similarly, when we compose, it needs to be transferred into chords, and notes we write. < Difference between an audience and a musician > There is a common belief that a musician can make music with sentiment or feeling. While it’s partially true, the most essential thing is knowing ‘’How’’ to create the sound that conveys the feeling we want, rather than merely knowing ‘’What’' feeling we want to convey. The understanding of the mechanism behind music is essential, as cooking, and that is the difference between an audience and a musician. As an audience, one can simply feel the music. Like a chief who knows how to create a specific flavor to convey, a musician knows how to create the sound which can convey the feeling we want. While knowing which feeling we want is great, it’s merely the first step. Your emotions are not too different from Chopin, Beethoven, Adele or Taylor Swift, otherwise, they can’t resonate with you. But they know how to create the sound that conveys the feeling they want to their audience. < Course Content > I consider my course to be a form of "Music Consultation" because it contains a wide range of subjects that are essential to a professional musician. While we focus on piano playing, there are also music theory, music history, instrument construction, ergonomics for performers, analysis of composer styles, composition, arrangement, recording, MIDI, computer music, the physics of sound, and more. In avoid of confusion, let’s still call my course as "Piano Course”. < Duration > For each course, I will reserve at least 70 minutes in my schedule for you, including 60 minutes of class time and an additional 10 minutes for discussion and any questions you may have. This will ensure that your courses are not rushed by the next student. This ensures that there is enough time for you to solve your piano and music problems. < Recording > I highly encourage my students to record their progress. This can provide an objective standard for comparison and help you analyze your playing precisely. In my nine years of experience teaching music, I've found many students, including those advanced, already play certain sections very well, while other sections may not be not well enough. But they still try to improving those fine sections, while not aware of those weak sections. Without an objective reference, it’s hard to distribute our effort precisely. This can lead to not only unstable performance, but also practicing without a precise goal can easily reduce enthusiasm. Recording your results and comparing them with those recordings you like on YouTube or Spotify can be an effective way to analyze your playing and set precise goals. If you have a digital piano, I can help you produce a video of your performance for each session. This can be a tangible record of your efforts and you can share it with your friends and family via YouTube or other platforms.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Wonderful Piano Teacher! We’ve been so lucky to find Loreine on Apprentus! She teaches via Zoom, but the experience feels just as personal and engaging as in-person lessons. Her teaching style is incredibly thoughtful — each lesson is well-structured and tailored to the student’s pace and personality. She explains everything clearly, with patience and professionalism, and always brings a calm, positive energy to every session. What stands out most is how nurturing and encouraging she is. My child feels supported and motivated, and her enthusiasm — never overwhelming — is truly contagious. She builds each lesson on the student's progress, reinforcing skills in a way that sets them up for success. Since starting lessons, my child has not only improved musically, but has also begun practicing regularly without being reminded — something I never expected! She genuinely looks forward to each lesson, which says everything. I highly recommend Loreine to anyone looking for a kind, professional, and effective piano teacher!

I had my first lesson today and I was immediately struck with the feeling that I am in the presence of a maestro in Piano playing, a professor in teaching and an extremely patient pedagogue. It was like Lydia knew me for years and instantaneously detected my strengths and my weaknesses in my piano playing and practice. I am an adult student and I highly recommend Lydia for all ages and all levels. An exceptional teacher that provides and exceptional lesson experience.

My first online lesson with Anastasia was excellent. After determining my level and goals, she jumped right into teaching. She has a personable style that made me feel comfortable as a beginner. Her instructions were clear and precise, so that despite the disadvantages of online lessons, I could follow them them easily. I left the first lesson with a lot to practice, and I'm looking forward to the next!
