The Tecla y Música Workshop is a space designed to learn and develop your musical and expressive sense through the piano and / or keyboards.
The main objective is to learn to make music and enjoy the learning process and its results.
The material with which we work (songs, instrumental pieces and exercises) is mainly oriented to your musical taste, and the choice is based on gradually expanding your technical and expressive possibilities, while exploring different musical styles.
In this way, different tools are being incorporated to achieve, in a short term, mastery and fluency over the musical language and the instrument.
Given that each student has different interests and concerns, whether playing as a hobby or developing a professional career, composing, improvising, etc., the orientation of the classes is built according to the possibilities and particular needs of each case.
The work proposal implies a weekly class frequency to achieve optimal work dynamics and that the results are visible in a short term.
There is also the possibility of taking isolated classes in order to solve a specific objective such as developing and perfecting some particular aspect of music practice and / or theory as well as preparing instrument exams or theoretical subjects for institutions of musical studies.
Extra information
It is aimed at anyone, without age limit, who wants to enter the musical language through the piano and / or keyboard, as well as for those who have previous musical experience and knowledge and want to deepen them.

About Me
I am a National Music Professor (National Conservatory-Argentina) and a Bachelor of Musical Arts with an orientation in Piano (National University of the Arts-Argentina). I studied and played the violin for several years and I have advanced studies in Composition.
Although my main activity is teaching Piano and Musical Language for more than 20 years, I also dedicate myself to the composition and musical direction for theater works and I work as an accompanying pianist in a Baccalaureate with Dance Orientation accompanying Classical Dance classes and Contemporary. I also participate in various artistic projects as a pianist and / or keyboard player.

Given that each student has different interests and concerns, whether playing as a hobby or developing a professional career, composing, improvising, etc., the orientation of the classes is built according to the possibilities and particular needs of each case.
In summary, it is a methodology based on the oral, visual, motor and auditory transmission of the necessary tools, physical and intellectual, for the instrumental practice and understanding of musical language through living experience, intuition and rational analysis of these knowledge and experiences, with the aim of learning them, apprehending them and thus achieving fluency and clarity in the transmission of musical thoughts and ideas, either from an initial, intermediate or advanced level and in a very wide age range that goes from 5 years to adults without age limit.

WORK HISTORY
• My main activity is teaching piano and musical language in the private sphere. As first experiences, related to the institutional environment, I can mention the Internships and Residences at the Initial, Primary and Secondary levels in public schools of the City of Buenos Aires during the teaching staff at the National Conservatory, and the dictation of Audioperceptive classes, Harmony and Piano at the Beethoven Conservatory. At the same time I was training, investigating, organizing and systematizing the way of transmitting knowledge and experiences through the development of work material (methodology for the preparation of the content and the organization of the classes; pedagogical approaches according to the different psychological profiles; creation of exercises and arrangements instrumentals adapted to these purposes). In this way I was building a personal, serious and committed way, incorporating elements of some known methodologies such as Dalcroze, Kodály and Suzuki, to transmit knowledge and experiences, and at the same time adapt them to the needs and concerns of each student, in order to go expanding its musical potential.
In summary, it is a methodology based on the oral, visual, motor and auditory transmission of the necessary tools, physical and intellectual, for the instrumental practice and understanding of musical language through living experience, intuition and rational analysis of these knowledge and experiences, with the aim of learning them, apprehending them and thus achieving fluency and clarity in the transmission of musical thoughts and ideas, either from an initial, intermediate or advanced level and in a very wide age group that goes from 5 years to adults without age limit. I also worked, with very good results in most cases, in the preparation of students to take exams, both for entry and for more advanced levels, in the Conservatories of the City of Buenos Aires "Manuel de Falla" and " Astor Piazzolla ”, and for admission to UNA and even foreign universities such as Manhattan School of Music, Berklee College of Music, Boston Conservatory of Music and San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Due to the nature of the methodology, these works and experiences are in permanent preparation, and are currently in the drafting stage for future publication. In this project, currently called "Taller Tecla y Música", in addition to teaching Piano and Musical Language classes, I work in the formation and direction of ensembles, from duos to multi-member ensembles with different instrumental roles, made up of members of the same workshop and other teaching spaces, with the aim of enriching musical practice through group interaction as well as to exercise the stage and exposure to the public, having made presentations, over more than ten years, in various theaters and cultural spaces in the city of Buenos Aires such as the “Gargantúa” Theater, “La Manufactura Papelera”, “Orlando Goñi” Theater, and “Vicente el absurdo” cultural space. - Since 1996 and continues.
• Accompanying pianist in Classical Dance and Musical Theater - Fundación Julio Bocca - CABA - From February to December 2018.
• Accompanying musician in the Vocational Courses of Dance and Body Expression (children from 4 to 12 years of age) dependent on the National School of Dance Nº1 "Aída V.Mastrazzi" - CABA - Since 2016 and continues.
• Accompanying pianist (Special Master of Music) in Classical and Contemporary Dance - Escuela Nacional de Danzas Nº1 “Aída V.Mastrazzi” - CABA - Since 2014 and continues.
• Professor of Audio Perceptive, Harmony and Piano - Beethoven Conservatory - Years 1997, 1998 and 1999.

I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age.

I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.

This is the time to finally learn some music playing, and we are here to help you reach your goals, no matter how big they are!
Pianoma is an online school where you can learn piano at home and with schedule flexibility. Our school works with teachers that speak 7 different languages.

Our main purpose is to make your music as valuable in your life as it is in ours. No matter the age, we adapt to you and to your musical tastes. We teach from 4 years old kids to our eldest student who is currently becoming 74 this year.

-> About our classes and planning

Our classes will focus on you and your musical expertise, if you have previous experience playing piano. If you are completely taking it from zero, we are also here to help.

We will also help you choose a perfect teacher for you based on your profile and what you tell us. He or She will always be teaching you, so no worries, there won't be changes all the time.

On our first class we will show you a bit how we work and our virtual platform so you can access to a private profile to check your weekly notes from your teacher, videos and other content that shall be relevant to you. Of course, there will also be some piano played involved ;)

The rest of the lessons will be planned based on your time. We will focus on what you are able to do with the time you have got. No need to stress or to rush, we want you to progress at your own pace.

Classes can be held on a weekly basis, but we also accept free scheduling classes by the student's availability. Do not hesitate to write us if you need more information!

-> Our courses

These are the courses that we are currently offering are focused on:

- Piano for Children: a fun method for beginners to learn and to experience music. Pedagogically based on Montessori, learning by collaboration and self motivation.

- Piano: no matter the style or the level

- Improvisation and Composition: for curious and creative minds

-Preparation to official exams such as Trinity and ABRSM: these exams take place in official examination centers in several parts of the world, but are also held online. They are highly recognized throughout the globe.

- Preparation to musical competitions

-> Online classes: how and why?

Our classes take place by several platforms as Google Meet or Skype, but if you feel more comfortable with others we are also open to suggestions. Our Professional Studios are set with 2 video cameras, so you can see us perfectly and also hear us perfectly with a studio microphone. Do not worry about your settings, as long as you have a stable connection this is all what we need.

Why online classes? We think online classes are a valid asset for the future. Students learn comfortably from their homes and the education that they receive is proved to have the same validity as in person lessons, if performed with the right means and the right method, obviously! This is what we have been researching and testing for the past 5 years. So far, we have reached a 90% of students that actually got top results at ABRSM examinations by being prepared exclusively online by us.

-> What you need for class?

- A phone, tablet or computer with internet connection
- A keyboard.

If you do not have a keyboard yet and need assistance, feel free to let us a message, and we will try to help you find something that adapts to your budget.

My piano lessons are structured, encouraging, and designed to make learning piano feel both achievable and fun. Students learn the fundamentals they need to become confident musicians, including music reading, proper technique, rhythm, and playing skills, while also getting to learn songs they actually enjoy.

I believe that learning music shouldn’t feel overwhelming or intimidating. I break down new concepts into simple, easy-to-understand steps and adjust my teaching to each student’s age, experience level, learning style, and goals. Whether you’re completely new to piano or looking to build on skills you already have, we’ll work together to help you make steady progress. No prior experience is needed—just bring your enthusiasm and a love for music!

I’m excited to help you begin (or continue) your musical journey!

You can spend years learning one new piece after another and still remain at roughly the same level: reading note by note, struggling to see the connections within the music, and feeling helpless without a teacher. The repertoire changes, while the quality of playing, musical thinking and independence change very little.

I do not believe this should be the normal outcome of piano lessons.

The most valuable part of playing the piano is the feeling of genuinely owning the music: being able to enter its world, experience it fully and bring your own musical hearing to life at the instrument. My role as a teacher is to make the path from the score to that state as direct and natural as possible.

I teach music as a system and a language. Students learn to see the musical logic behind the notation: to understand harmony and form, follow the direction of a phrase, recognise style and character, and gradually become more fluent and independent musicians.

My teaching is rooted in the Russian academic piano tradition, but the repertoire can be classical, modern, film, anime or jazz-oriented. What matters is that the work remains serious, attentive and musically meaningful.

I work with motivated teenagers and adults, from beginners to advanced players.

With beginners, I aim to make score reading fluent and natural as early as possible while developing an understanding of how music works from the inside.

If a student already plays but feels stuck, I identify what is actually limiting further progress. Difficulties that seem separate are often connected, and I work with the underlying cause rather than treating each symptom in isolation.

After a long break, I help bring existing knowledge and skills back into active use, identify the genuine gaps and organise what remains into a working system from which the student can move forward.

With advanced students, the work can include mental practice and principles from Stanislavski’s system.

I am a concert pianist and piano educator with 23 years of teaching experience, from private work with students of different levels to university-level teaching at the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music.

I graduated with honours from the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music and later completed postgraduate studies there. For more than twenty years I performed in Russia and internationally across Europe, Asia and South America.

I received first prizes at the Salieri–Zinetti International Chamber Music Competition in Italy in 2010 and the Max Reger Chamber Music Competition in Germany in 2011, and recorded two albums for the Melodiya label.

Lessons are fully online and taught in English.

-> Our courses
