Based on the global standards followed by Emirates Airlines in assessing Cadet Pilots, here is a detailed and comprehensive description of the test that explains the nature of the challenge and the skills it requires: Description of the academic entrance exam (Mathematics and Physics) This test is the first and most important step in the evaluation process, designed to measure candidates' scientific competence and mental abilities. It doesn't simply assess memorization of rules, but rather speed, accuracy, and the ability to apply scientific concepts in practical, aviation-related contexts. 1. Mathematics Component This section focuses on the computational aspect that a pilot needs to perform navigation and fuel calculations immediately. • Rapid mental calculation: Performing basic operations (multiplication, division, percentages) without using a calculator. • Algebra and Geometry: Solving first and second degree equations, and calculating angles and triangles (especially the Pythagorean theorem for calculating paths). • Data interpretation: Reading complex graphs and tables and extracting results from them with extreme speed. 2. Physics Component This section aims to ensure the candidate understands the natural laws that govern the movement of an aircraft in the sky. • Mechanics and motion: Newton's laws, speed, acceleration, and gravity. • Simplified Aerodynamics: Concepts of pressure, density, and how to generate lift. • Electricity and Magnetism: The basic principles of electrical circuits and understanding the circuits that support aircraft systems. • Properties of matter: Understanding the behavior of gases and liquids (Bernoulli's principle) and the effect of heat and atmospheric pressure. Trusted teacher: Premium Tutoring in Computer Science: Go Beyond Coding to Deep Understanding. My method is rooted in the Feynman Technique: I don't just teach the material; I internalize concepts until I can explain them to anyone, intuitively connecting new knowledge to your existing foundations. This approach transforms complex topics like Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Data Structures into clear, actionable logic. I am committed to creating a comfortable, encouraging environment focused on active learning and real-world application. My goal is to equip you not just with code, but with the logical thinking and debugging prowess of a professional Software Engineer. Proven Credentials and Real-World Results: University-Grade Expertise: I served as a Teaching Assistant at Zewail University, specializing in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) using C++. My role was to develop effective teaching methods, guide step-by-step project implementation, and coach students in advanced debugging and logical programming thinking. Advanced Curricula Mastery: I have successfully prepared students for high-stakes exams and competitions, including AP Computer Science (using Java) and USACO (Competitive Programming), helping them achieve excellent grades and proficiency in complex analysis and coding. Rapid Mastery Success: Recently, I helped a Master’s student with zero OOP knowledge successfully learn C++ foundations in less than four lessons to complete a complex Computer Vision project on time, guiding him through debugging and applying software design principles. My Student-Centered 4-Phase Learning System: Phase 1: Diagnostic Assessment: Our early sessions focus on identifying your current knowledge base and, crucially, your most effective individual learning style. Phase 2: Intuitive Linkage: We use the Feynman-style approach to link new programming concepts (OOP, Data Structures, Algorithms) to familiar knowledge, making the learning process intuitive and enjoyable. Phase 3: Practice & Debugging: I emphasize practice, error discovery, and best coding practices. I provide AP-style practice materials and competitive programming challenges to build proficiency in analysis and solution writing. Phase 4: Real-World Application & Review: We constantly search for the use cases of what you are learning to make the concepts meaningful. We conclude with exam revision and strategic preparation to ensure you are ready to achieve great grades.

I am a certified chess teacher based in Berlin (DOSB-Trainerin C Leistungssport) and a former competitive player, holding the title of Candidate Master in Russia (FIDE peak 1974). I have taught in schools and privately for many years, working with students from complete beginners up to club-level players. I teach in several languages, and I offer lessons for both children and adults, with each class adapted to the student’s level and goals. For kids, my lessons are friendly, motivating, and easy to follow, especially if they are just discovering the game. I focus on building good habits, clear thinking, and a genuine enjoyment of chess. For adults or more advanced young competitive players, my main focus is tactics, variation calculation, strategic play and ideas, endgames, as well as developing a solid understanding of openings at beginner and intermediate levels. Lessons can be taken one-on-one or in small groups, and parent-and-child sessions are also possible. Depending on where you are located, we can meet online or in person. Every program is tailored individually, whether you’re an adult looking to improve your game or a child taking their first steps in chess. Chess is a wonderful lifelong game. Whether you’re learning for personal growth or looking for lessons for your child, it offers many benefits: improved memory, concentration, logic, patience, critical thinking, and problem-solving. It also provides a calm, fun, and socially engaging environment where students can meet new people and build confidence. If you or your child would like to begin or continue your chess journey, feel free to reach out. I’m always happy to answer questions and help you find the right learning plan.

I am utterly delighted that I have met Ignacio. I have tried to learn Chess on several occasions with different instructors. For whatever reason I just haven’t been able to understand the game enough to actually enjoy it. However, within just a few lessons of working with Ignacio I have completely fallen in love with the game of chess. Ignacio has a certain skill in that he makes something quite complicated, seem very very easy. I have found that I have picked up techniques and I have a couple of simple openings that are already winning me games, and filling me full of confidence. I would strongly recommend Ignacio to anyone that wanted to learn Chess. I for one will be continually using him for a very very long time.

My 8 years old son really liked the chess lesson with Abhishek. I am quite impressed with the preparedness of Abhishek before the class, he knew exactly what topics to be covered and also explains in very detail. Also, Abhishek patience and giving sufficient time to the student really helps and makes the learning a great experience. Would love to recommend Abhishek for any level of chess learning.
