Music Tuition Across the Board - Guitar, Music Theory, Music Tech and Composition (from Jazz to Pop to Classical)

Music Tuition Across the Board - Guitar, Music Theory, Music Tech and Composition (from Jazz to Pop to Classical)

I have over 10 years of music composition, production, and performance experience. Having studied at The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire (Jazz Guitar) and Leeds Conservatoire (Jazz and Production), I incorporate my education background in jazz and classical music to bring an in-depth perspective on teaching the likes of the guitar, music theory, composition, and production for a range of ages and abilities. I can also provide additional support for students studying GCSE/A-Level Music, as well as delivering unique and personalized lesson plans tailored to musicians’ and artists’ own career goals and aspirations (from recording to music business). I teach in both 1-1 and small group scenarios, both online and face to face. As an actively recording and touring artist and session musician, I have worked with a huge array of different musicians, artists, and producers and have been exposed to a broad range of genres worldwide. I use this knowledge and experience to bring a unique and fresh approach to teaching music in range styles and techniques, from Jazz to Hip-Hop to Classical Music - whether that by analyzing and examining a tune together, learning to improvise over your favorite piece of music, or simply playing for the fun of it. It is important that I grasp an understanding of where my students are at with their instrument or subject before we begin learning together so that I can plan and ensure I approach the lesson in the right way. I provide materials in advance of a lesson, such as worksheet activities or listening references, to allow enhanced learning as well as efficiency during sessions. Most of all, it is important that my students feel relaxed and that they are learning what they love. I make it my challenge to bring something fresh and new to every lesson.

Singing, Cello ad Music Lessons For All With a Fun and Engaging Teacher.

Rachael is a mezzo soprano based in London with an extensive teaching and performance career. After graduating from Leeds College of Music in 2016 with a first class honours undergraduate degree, Rachael has continued her learning with Julie Kennard, in preparation for a Masters in Opera Performance. Rachael teaches across London both privately and in schools, where she runs workshops in musicianship and performance. Rachael also plays cello, and studied for three years with esteemed cellist Alfia Nakipbekova. Rachael plays regularly with orchestras, and also has experience in the popular music setting, where she has played with bands in Leeds and London. Teaching in Singing Rachael teaches all levels and ages of singers. A typical lesson will include: - Having fun with singing! - Learning of songs - Technical exercises in warm ups, breathing exercises and muscle and relaxation exercises - Performance techniques - Guidance and advice based on building confidence - Graded exams if appropriate Teaching in Cello Rachael focuses on beginner and intermediate cellists, with lots of focus on: - Cello 101: the basics of cello playing - Technique: fun exercises to aid the performance of pieces - Playing some fun and interesting pieces to challenge and improve your playing ability - Musical expression - Rhythm exercises - Graded exams if appropriate Music Theory Although Rachael teaches all of her singing and cello pupils music theory in each lesson, sometimes dedicated time is needed - especially when approaching an exam! She is also happy to coach students who study with other tutors if the tutor does not run coaching sessions themselves. Please check with your teacher though, as they know you and how you learn best! Genre Rachael teaches most genres of singing and cello. The First Lesson First lessons begin with Rachael finding out what experience (if any) you have and what you would like to achieve. All of her lessons are tailored to your individual needs, meaning that your goals are the focus of the sessions. Beginners For beginner singers and children one should expect to buy some materials (such as music books) to aid learning and practice. For beginner cellists and children you will need to source your own cello. Rachael can offer advice and guidance about this, but unfortunately she does not have cellos available for pupils to hire. If you are interested in lessons with Rachael, or have any questions, please feel free to send her a message.

Highly qualified inspiring piano lessons / piano improvisation / music theory / tutoring music lessons online

Highly qualified inspiring piano lessons / piano improvisation / music theory / tutoring music lessons online

Online piano lessons for all ages and levels: As a professionally trained piano teacher and pianist with almost 20 years of teaching experience, I offer creatively designed, individual piano lessons at a high level in a patient atmosphere. Together we explore the world of music on the piano, learn the playing technique on a kinesthetic basis - recognizing and releasing tension, learning an effective direction for expressive, organic play that is in harmony with the musical feeling. Improvisation is another part of my teaching activity - finding your "own musical language", applying it and "incidentally" learning background music theory and simply having fun playing the piano enrich the music making and bring more flexibility, if desired this can also be the focus of the lesson. For adults of all ages: Depending on the individual goals and wishes, we create a schedule and concept with intermediate goals; this is also possible in the course format with 10 lessons. For me it is not important at which level we start. You can either play for the first time or develop your knowledge and skills. In addition to piano technique, I can also teach you how to accompany yourself or other people while singing and how to easily arrange or write a song for piano. Tutoring offer: Theory doesn't have to be gray .. Music theory with fascination and the joy of discovery is an integral part of learning music, on the instrument, but also in general. I am happy to give tuition to schoolchildren for music lessons in schools.
