I love helping flutists of all levels set and achieve their goals. My teaching is focused on building a strong foundation of fundamental skills, getting curious about music and flute playing, and learning how we can tell our stories through music. A bit about me: Hailed by Gramophone as a “sensitive and virtuoso performer,” flutist Kaleb delights audiences with his commanding presence, brilliant technique, and thoughtful interpretations. Is an active solo and orchestral musician, and has performed with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra, the Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra, and the Grammy Award winning Albany Symphony Orchestra. He appeared as a soloist and as the conductor of the Colorado Flute Orchestra at the 2017 National Flute Association convention. Awards and honors are First Prize at the Bruce Ekstrand Memorial Competition, The MPIMC Prize at the Marina Piccinini International Masterclass, Winner of the Tuesday Musical Association’s Competition, and Winner of the Baldwin Wallace Concerto Competition. He has appeared as a concerto soloist with the Baldwin Wallace Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Dwight Oltman and twice with the University of Colorado Early Music ensemble, working with Music Directors Zachary Carrettin and Robert Hill. As a teacher and clinician, has been on the faculty of the Baldwin Wallace Community Music School and The Joyful Noise Neighborhood Music School. Received his Bachelor’s degree from the Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music, a Master of Music and a Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Colorado Boulder, where he was a graduate Teaching Assistant, member of the graduate woodwind quintet, and lead TA for the College of Music. His principal teachers include George Pope, Christina Jennings, Damian Bursill-Hall and Andrei Pidkivka. His other significant influences have been Brook Ferguson and Amy Porter. Debut album, Grieg: Violin Sonatas for Flute, with pianist Nathália Kato, is available from MSR Classics.

Trusted teacher: Lessons of trumpet, jazz harmony and improvisation for all instruments. Around 15 years of teaching experience. FR/SP My name is Sebastián, Argentine trumpeter, trombonist and composer based in Basel. Since I was 18 years old I am working as a professional musician. I have worked in many educational institutions, such as EMC (School of Contemporary Music) Berklee International Network as Professor of Trumpet, jazz ensemble, and musical notation, in “Orquesta Juvenil del Sur,” an orchestra for underprivileged children, as a trumpet teacher at St Andrew's Scots School and as a private teacher. Apart from my teaching experience I was selected to participate in the renowned Focusyear Basel program along with seven international musicians at Jazzcampus Basel during 2020/2021 and after the end of the program I decided to start a master in composition in the same institution. Already the first year I had the honor of being chosen to arrange music for the wind ensemble of the prestigious MIT University (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and also to write original music for the Jazzcampus Big Band. I graduated from the Jazz career of the Manuel de Falla Superior Conservatory of the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina and I received an Honorable Mention from the National Endowment for the Arts from Argentina in Unpublished music in the Jazz category and I also released my first album released by the Chicago label, United States Ears & Eyes Records. In 2019 I was chosen as revelation musician by the Argentine media "El Intruso". I am also working as a producer recording in my home studio.

Trusted teacher: Hello! The classes I offer are completely personalized. Depending on the student's objectives, we jointly plan a route that covers the necessary knowledge to fulfill them. I specialize in popular music, I am very versatile at this point, we can learn from folk to jazz or classical. Whatever style we want to play, it is extremely useful to understand the basics of music theory in order to understand our instrument. It is also very important to develop a good technique in both hands to achieve fluidity and dynamics in our touch and to be able to play more and more complex pieces. Do you have little time and just want to learn to accompany yourself with the guitar in some songs? No problem! We will learn to read the ciphers (chords) and place them on the neck in various positions. Do you play the guitar but you are stuck and don't know how to keep progressing? We are looking for new sounds! The possibilities are endless: scales/modes, harmonies, speed, new techniques... Do you want to learn theory? Enroll in a school/conservatory? Do you need support classes for your career? I have the necessary material and knowledge for us to cover all this and more! Hello! The classes I offer are completely personalized.
