The rule is simple: don't be afraid to make a fool of yourself! Students are encouraged to try, fail, and overall be proactive in learning new information in bite-sized chunks: all of that in a warm and comforting environment. Depending on the personal goal of the student, we will learn/refine/explore the following topics: - Fundamental techniques of playing electric bass - Understanding and coming up with a bassline - What makes it groove? - How to improvise: soloing and walking bass - How to change the underlying harmonies of a song to make it sound cooler (or weirder!) - Understanding how the musical elements are glued in a song, and if you dare, how to write one yourself - How to learn music or play music by ear Languages: English (fluent), German (B1 and improving), Korean (native)

*Playing and instrument is a skill set but music is a human instinct* My name is Sara and Ive been playing the guitar for almost 18 years now. I specialize in electric guitar and Id love to help you out on your musical journey. I teach electric guitar (as well as acoustic/ and classical on a basic entry level) and music theory (basic and jazz/pop music theory) I have found my passion in teaching music and want to help out anyone who is just starting with guitar/music or wants to expand their musical horizon a bit further. Together we can learn and discover the expanded world of the electric guitar and learn to play your favourite songs and learn new techniques. As pretty much every genre out there uses the guitar in a different way, learning the guitar can be a very rewarding experience for any music lover. * For any topic that we may work on I provide handwritten material and weekly notes as well as a monthly goal plan for each student. My goal for every lesson is not perfection but that the student leaves the lesson feeling capable, inspired and every time more curious about music. * Please note: for time being all lessons are taught in English (!)

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Music with a specialization in Music Theory and have several years of teaching experience in piano, solfège, harmony and musicianship. My approach is based on developing the student as a complete musician. Alongside piano technique and repertoire, I place strong emphasis on reading music, rhythm, ear training, musical understanding and healthy playing habits. For students who already have experience, the lessons can focus more specifically on technique, interpretation, harmony, theory or repertoire. I also offer specialized lessons in: • Piano • Music Theory • Harmony and Voice Leading • Ear Training and Solfège • Musical Analysis • Composition • Preparation for music-school, conservatory and university entrance examinations Lessons are always adapted to the student’s age, level and individual goals. — A good foundation in music theory and a trained ear are very helpful when learning to compose. If you already have these skills, we can jump straight into writing music together – if not, we can simply work on them along the way. Lessons are based on your personal goals and interests and can include composition, music theory, ear training, and piano – whether for fun, further development, or preparation for an entrance exam.

Hello, my name is Pia and I'm a flautist. :) I started learning the flute at the age of 8. I loved it right away, so after music school, I continued my studies at the conservatory in Maribor (Slovenia). I then studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz. In 2024, I completed my bachelor's degree at the Gustav Mahler Private University in Klagenfurt. There, I earned a degree in concert performance and a degree in instrumental pedagogy. During my studies, I also completed a specialization course in early music, majoring in transverse flute. Therefore, I also offer lessons for beginners on this beautiful baroque instrument. During my studies, I had several private students with whom I explored the sounds of the flute and various genres (classical, pop, jazz, folk music, improvisation, etc.). My lessons are relaxed and communicative, full of collaborative music-making. Classes can also take place online. Beginners are just as welcome as those who want to deepen their knowledge or start playing the flute again after some time! :)

My lessons are especially for you if you want to achieve freedom and ease at the piano. As a composer, I develop my ideas through improvisation at the piano, which, trained through technique and knowledge, allows for a free discovery of one's own music. So you not only learn to play your favorite songs, but also to understand them and to come up with similar ones yourself. The lessons are completely flexible, and the focus is on fun and discovery. We can learn to play from sheet music or by ear. We can include harmony, rhythm, and ear training – whatever you prefer. It is also possible to focus on only one of these areas if you want to prepare for an entrance exam or something similar [rhythm and ear training].
