Learn Italian Like a Linguist | For Curious Minds & Language Lovers

Learn Italian Like a Linguist | For Curious Minds & Language Lovers

Ciao! I'm Camilla, a language teacher and PhD researcher in Italian linguistics. Over the past few years, I've taught Italian to learners from many different linguistic and cultural backgrounds, from complete beginners to university students. Alongside my teaching, my research focuses on Italian grammar, language education and how people learn languages. As a language learner myself, I know that studying a language can be both exciting and challenging. That's why I believe every learner deserves an approach that builds on their strengths, values their previous experiences and makes learning feel meaningful. Whether you're learning Italian for work, study, travel or simply because you love languages, my goal is to help you develop confidence, curiosity and a deeper understanding of how Italian works. What you can expect from our Italian lessons: 1. We start with your languages. Before learning Italian, I want to discover the languages you already speak, understand or have encountered throughout your life. Your linguistic repertoire is the starting point of our lessons, because every language you know can support the learning of a new one. 2. We learn by observing, connecting and remembering. Languages are full of patterns waiting to be discovered. Instead of remembering grammar in isolation, we'll explore Italian through examples, comparisons and guided observation. Once we've understood how something works, we'll use different memory strategies and regular practice to make it part of your active language. Different learners remember in different ways, so we'll experiment with techniques that best fit your learning style. 4. We make room for Italian in your everyday life. Learning a language doesn't require hours of study every day: it requires consistency. Progress comes from regular contact with the language. Together we'll create simple, sustainable routines that fit your goals, your schedule and your learning style, whether through reading, listening, vocabulary practice or short writing activities. 5. We grow into independent language learners. Learning Italian is our goal, but learning how to learn is just as important. Throughout our lessons you'll develop strategies, habits and confidence that will continue to support your language learning long after our work together.

Intensive English Classes and conversation experts.

Intensive English Classes and conversation experts.

Hello, My name is David, and I am a certified native English teacher and an English textbook author with over 11 years of experience in group and private classes. Conversation, interview preparation, summer classes, business English, and small group training are all areas of expertise. I have worked in a number of English academies and for businesses. My enthusiasm for teaching and understanding of why Spanish English learners make similar mistakes have enabled me to achieve 95% success in standard examinations such as KET,PET, FCE, CAE, PCE, EBAU, TOEIC, STANAG, ETC even with short notice but intensive lessons. Learning assessments, Tests and assignment evaluation, positive reinforcement methods, student-centered learning, active involvement, group learning mechanics, and classroom management strategies are just a few of the teaching techniques that go into achieving this goal. Encouraging pupils to think creatively and motivating them by focusing on their specific skills and shortcomings can help them overcome their fear of public speaking. Every student in a class has unique needs, which must be addressed by incorporating a variety of teaching strategies into classrooms. This has aided in the promotion of physical, mental, and social development through classroom games and activities. Can also create dynamic lesson plans based on the interests and needs of the students. Create teaching materials to supplement standard curriculum when necessary, enhancing learning concepts and encouraging student engagement, and evaluating student progress to make recommendations for future development. Speaking, reading, writing, and listening are the "must four" in my classes. Let's have fun with English!
