Hello! If you want to learn Italian in an effective, personal, and above all enthusiastic way, you have come to the right place. I am a native Italian speaker and I love sharing my language and culture with others. My goal is to give you confidence from the very first lesson, whether you are learning for pleasure, for your studies, or for work.
My teaching method and approach
I don't believe in boring, standard lessons. Every student is unique! That is why I am fully at your disposal to create a structured, tailor-made study plan based on your goals and pace. Do you already have material or a specific method you want to follow? No problem at all; I am super flexible and adapt completely to your preferences. During the lessons, we focus on fluent conversation, correct pronunciation, and real, everyday Italian, without losing sight of the necessary grammar.

Please note: I do not speak Dutch myself. Therefore, we will use English as an intermediate language for communication and all necessary explanations. This ensures a very smooth, international, and stress-free learning process, while also allowing you to practice your English a little!

I teach for all levels, from very beginners to advanced speakers, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I can also help with university exams and school works/assignments.
Being a pianist and a piano teacher, I already have lots of experience with teaching and pedagogical approach with the whole range of ages.

The lesson is intended to meet the student needs: the focus can be on the grammar, conversation or literature. In case of a middle-level speaker, the lesson will cover all four language's abilities: listening, speaking, writing and reading. If you wish to brush up your Italian, resume a past series of lessons, or simply start from scratch learning Italian, this is the right lesson for you! I like to personalize each class/course according to the needs and goals of my students. My classes are focused on improving the student's communication skills. At beginner and lower intermediate levels, I prefer using a text book/ student book in the first part of the class. I usually use "Nuovissimo Progetto Italiano" and "Arrivederci" by Edilingua, or "Nuovo Espresso" and "Dieci" by Alma Publishing. For the second part of the lesson, I create engaging contents using original videos, press articles, extracts from blogs and social media, literary texts.
