The course will be given in Korean and French and will be adapted to the needs of the students. The courses will address: development of expression, oral production and comprehension, Korean conversation, grammar, reading, Korean culture and / or academic level (academic writing and preparation of exams according to your needs). The course for beginners takes place with the book "Korean Course" and / or "I love Korean" with documents that I have written. The high level courses will allow you to pass the TOPIK (Test Of Proficiency In Korean, Certificate of competence in Korean language: It is required to enter a Korean university or work in a Korean company and it is also required to obtain a title of resident or for obtaining a visa if you are an immigrant by marriage). The 2h lesson will take place at least once a week. Lessons can take place in a public place of your choice, in a quiet café at the student's expense or at your home (The 1st lesson must take place in a public place). I can also move to the suburbs if necessary. There will be a charge for my return trip outside Paris without the metro depending on the travel time. If there are many of you in a group (more than 2 people), the price of my trip will be negotiable.

I originally from South Korea but I spent half of my life in the United States; I graduated from the University of Virginia, majoring in Economics. The Korean language does not use the Roman alphabet; it uses the Hangeul 'alphabet'. If you are a beginner, you need to learn this symbolic system to communicate with Korean speakers. In this lesson, you would learn how the Hangeul symbols sounds like; what the consonants and vowels of Hangeul are; and how you can construct some basic simple words from these symbols. If you understand the Hangeul symbolic system, you can read every word in Korean even if you have not seen it before (with a few exceptions).

Korean seems difficult, but once you understand the principles, it's not that hard. When I taught Korean to Dutch people in the Netherlands, I put a lot of effort into teaching lessons that were both comfortable and appropriately challenging for Dutch students. My lessons are easy, but you have to pay attention; you learn relatively quickly, but you have to put in a lot of effort to study many different aspects of the language. One of my greatest strengths is that I make sure that students learn Korean without stress.
