About Me

Hello, I am thrilled to apply as a Korean language tutor on the Apprentus platform. Teaching is not just about delivering knowledge; it is about creating an enjoyable and engaging learning experience. My goal is to make every lesson an exciting journey for my students, helping them learn Korean while having fun along the way.

Education

I am a native Korean who was born and raised in South Korea, where I completed my high school education and developed a strong foundation in the Korean language, culture, and history. Additionally, I have a global educational background, having attended an international school for seven years, which provided me with a diverse and multicultural perspective. I also spent five years living outside of Korea, further enriching my understanding of different cultures and enhancing my communication skills. Currently, I am pursuing my study the Netherlands, where I continue to engage with an international academic environment that aligns with my global outlook and aspirations.

Experience / Qualifications

I have informal experience teaching Korean to foreign friends, which has allowed me to develop key skills in language instruction. Through these experiences, I learned how to adapt explanations to different learning styles, simplify complex grammar concepts, and make lessons engaging and relatable. Teaching my friends also helped me understand the common challenges non-native speakers face when learning Korean, such as pronunciation, sentence structure, and vocabulary usage.

These experiences have made me patient, adaptable, and skilled at creating a comfortable environment for learners. While informal, they have provided me with a solid foundation for helping students build confidence in their Korean language abilities.
