In my online class, we are going to learn in depth our instrument, and simultaneously discover our inner artist. Every lesson is adapted to your needs. We will work methodically and with fun from the begining, in any musical genre or kind of guitar. Through our lessons, we will analyze step by step the musical genre(s) you want to learn, in order to discover how it works (technically & artistically) and how to build the skills we need, in order to make music with it. My goal, is to make you the teacher of yourself and a musician that in every lesson builds his/her critical thinking about how music works. Nick is an experienced musician with over ten years of musical practice. Graduated in Higher Education in the specialty of clarinet and Master in Orchestral Interpretation at the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus, Denmark. I teach private clarinet classes mainly, as well as music theory, encompassing subjects such as music theory, harmony and analysis. I specialize in classical music, but my musical concerns have always led me to investigate jazz, which is why I also offer classes related to this language. I adapt to the needs of the student at all times. My experience as a clarinet teacher has taught me that the teacher's role should always be that of a guide, regardless of the age of the student. The educational system today is based on covering the greatest number of subjects in the shortest possible time, in a way that can become tedious and unexciting. Without leaving aside the technical part, since it is essential at all times, my system is based on feeding the student's musical concerns in parallel. Creating fun and motivating moments with the clarinet is the key to healthier and more natural learning.

I am Australian and live in Italy. I am a Harpist, Composer and arranger, with many years experience playing concerts, solo and in groups ; events, and theater work. My teaching experience is mainly with adult beginners and intermediate, and classical students , or players who want to explore jazz and improvvisation. My focus in teaching is to empower and inspire the student at what ever level they feel they are at. I like to help students arrive at their own goals , and persue their own chosen style , and repertoire whilst, suggesting new and perhaps alternatives in both approach and repertoire to expand musical horizons. For harpists the basis of technique is classical, believing in a strong technical base , whilst the approach of choosing and finding repertoire is non classical. I like to give the opportunity to alternate with music learned off the page with learning by ear. My specialty is improvisation, both structured and free and am available to teach improvisation, and music in English to not only harpists but to any musicians who already play and may like to explore improv. and help with english lyrics, terminology, and theory. I am also able to help musicians to arrange music for their instrument in the context of duos and trios for example strings with harp, or composers wishing to write for harp.

Since then I have performed as a singer with numerous Hungarian and Austrian jazz bands, big bands and symphony orchestras. I share cover songs and original music on my YouTube-channel with more than 20000 subscribers. I studied jazz vocal performance at a Western European music university. Over the years I have collected many exercises, techniques and tips that I can help my students to improve their voices day by day. I adapt my method individually to each student.
