-Dutch & videos below- Lessons in 6 languages! With more than 200 students through all my life, more than 500 shows (mostly in Spain but also around Europe and a couple of minitours in America), 15 CDs/EP/singles published (as a frontman, sideman and producer), a bachelor in jazz-modern music guitar (Taller de Músics - Barcelona), half bachelor in piano jazz (Conservatori del Liceu - Barcelona) and a long professional music career behind me playing a ton of different styles (pop, rock, funk, metal, jazz, folk, rumba, reggae...), I've come from Barcelona to Rotterdam to continue my musical journey by doing the latin master at Codarts. I've been working as a music teacher for around 12 years (I'm 29 years old), both doing private lessons and in different music schools, being the most important one the “Escola de Música Creu Alta” in Sabadell (Barcelona), which is one of the biggest music schools in Spain (with more than 900 students), in which I was the Head of the Modern Music Department. I teach guitar (electric and classical), piano (electric and classical), composition, musical production (with Logic Pro), ensemble and modern music theory AT ALL LEVELS, from 100% beginners to people who want to prepare themselves for the music bachelor. I can adapt totally to what the student wants and is looking for, but also, since I have a lot of experience, I have the lessons well planned, I know which songs and exercises work better depending on the aspect that we want to work (tempo, chords, scales, sound, improvisation...) and when I see someone playing I can see in which aspects is the person strong, and in which aspects has the person more problems, so that way you won't waste your time! Also I'm a fun and very empathetic person so we will have fun, which is the most important thing!! I speak 6 languages: Catalan, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Dutch and English, so we can do the classes in one of these languages. The lessons can take place in my home (Maashaven metro station) where I have a nice setup, online or in your home. -Dutch- Lessons in 6 languages! In my lessons, having fun while making music is always central. I believe you learn best when you feel safe, seen, and free to experiment. That’s why I work with a personal and positive approach, allowing each student to follow their own pace and musical interests. A typical lesson starts with a short warm-up or technical exercise, tailored to the voice or instrument. We then work on songs, ideas, or projects the student enjoys, such as singing favorite songs, writing original music, or producing a track. Technique, musicality, and creativity are always intertwined. I explain theory in a practical and accessible way, so it can be applied immediately to your own music. My background as a conservatory-trained vocalist, songwriter, and producer allows me to combine multiple disciplines. I support students not only with vocal or instrumental technique, but also with expression, confidence, songwriting, and developing a personal style. Making mistakes is part of the process, and often where the most beautiful ideas begin. The lessons are suitable for both beginners and advanced students, and for anyone curious about music and creative growth. Whether you dream of performing on stage, writing your own songs, or simply singing or playing with more confidence and joy, we will work together, focused and with lots of fun, on your musical development.

More than 25 years of experience as a professional musician and more than 20 as a teacher and pedagogue have taught me that, alongside a technical and knowledgeable musical upbringing, my teaching can instil in the student a wide sense of musical appreciation. It is my firm belief that music connects to many other areas of learning and may even catalyse the overall pedagogical development of children. Furthermore, my training as a classical composer/arranger and a performer of classical, jazz and world music allows me to create diverse pedagogical scenarios, which fit not just the aspirations of individual students, but also helps me to work with students collectively in ensembles and other kinds of interactive projects. For the past 5 years I have also included many technological advancements (such as DAW software), which allow students to record and produce their own material or practice sessions. Using these techniques, I am able to reach out to each student, introduce new concepts and make sure they enjoy and improve their learning processes.

The internet is full of videos and tutorials about songs, chords, scales, licks and even music theory. But if you're tired of playing that song, or that lick, without being able to change it, then this class is for you. Before I entered the conservatory, I could never really understand what I was playing. And that was preventing me from expressing my musicality. By this I mean, I wasn't able to change a chord, or do a variation on a melody, or even creating an Intro. And this requires not so hard skills that can easily be developed just by thinking in music by its harmonical context. In my lessons I'll garantee you learn all this skills and you start making music since the very first day.
