I am an experienced teacher with a Master of Science in Mathematics. As I've studied my Masters in English and spent a year in Italy I also teach those two languages. Since 4 years I am teaching also German (DaF and DaZ). I love learning languages myself, so I know where the difficulties are. The most amazing experience was when one pupil who I've taught his very first words in German could have a conversation with me. Moments like this fill me with joy and I am working for you to have those moments. My lessons will be exactly made for you. If you want to learn conversations, that's what we are going to do. If you want to learn grammar, we'll have some grammar lessons. My Math lessons differ a bit as most of the times there is not really a decision to make. If you tell me the type of exam you are preparing for. I will design a schedule with which we can achieve that goal in any given time frame.

I am native German and have been living in the UK for 8 years. I enjoyed my English lessons and would like to help you now to learn my language. The main focus will be on vocabulary and speaking, as I know from experience that this is difficult to achieve.

I specialize in tutoring German grammar and providing conversational practice. I can help with specific questions from school or university work and can also provide my own exercises to practise your language skills. We will work together to improve your accuracy and expand your knowledge of the language.

I teach language courses to students from primary school but also to people who want to learn a language at any level. I propose to teach, firstly, language courses: - French -> is my mother tongue - Portuguese -> mother tongue - English -> I learned at school and I prepare my level B2 - German -> I'm preparing my C1 level -> For me learning a language is always interesting, because today it is important to know how to speak at least 3 languages. And for children wishing to study for a long time, it is important to have good knowledge in French and German (for those wishing to go to the HEP, a level C1 in German is mandatory) -> I will offer during my language lessons, exercises adapted to the student, a lot of discussions (because the oral is also important). -> I also offer specific courses another day of the week, a kind of "workshop" that will only focus on what needs to be improved. I gladly teach maths for elementary school children with additional exercises in case the student needs further explanation. -> A course lasts a minimum of 1 hour (Especially for the languages) after one can prolong and make up to 2 hours of course if need. -> If ever for the place of the course I can also give it at home and at the student or by webcam, but I prefer to rent a classroom in a school. Which is feasible. I would like to point out that I give lessons to people living around Romont and Friborg. Do not hesitate to ask if you have doubts !! :)
