I am a bilingual girl from Barcelona, both fluent in German and Spanish. I grew up in the Catalan metropolitan city and moved to Germany to study back in 2014. Apart from my two native languages, I am also fluent in English and can speak French and Catalan at a basic to intermediate level. I also spent some years learning Japanese, a language that I would love to get into again, and recently started studying Italian as well, which, given my background, I am able to understand fully at this point, so I am focussing most on also acquiring the speaking proficiency. Last year I decided to come to Copenhagen to start a new life there and I would love to put my many languages to use to teach other people. My teaching style is very open, conversation-focussed and done with the learning by doing approach. I believe in teaching the ground rules and practicing them by speaking from a very basic level onwards. I am looking forward to meeting motivated and open students, that want to learn a new language and also to get involved in their culture.

I speak 6 languages, which I learned using an extremely powerful method which I want to share with other language learners. I will support you through it, you will be amazed how much you learn and how quickly. It boils down to this: 1) Learn the most useful and important blocks of vocabulary in your target language - instead of learning unnecessary vocabulary, I will show you the most frequent parts of your target language so you can improve your understanding as quickly as possible. 2) Memorise those blocks in the most effective way - a technique called spaced repetition 3) Focus on practising the skills that matter. Listening and Reading are the foundation, you should do them regularly. Together we'll find perfect resources for your level and interest. Within this method there are certain skills you must develop, I will coach you through them and soon you won't need me anymore :)

Maths and Physics are essential parts of every day life. They are awesome subjects but can sometimes become quite daunting. I provide a 1-to-1 tutoring service for high school pupils, studying GCSE, A-level, SQA Nat 3/4/5, Higher, Advanced Higher level Maths and Physics, and students studying 1st/2nd year university maths courses. I strive to provide students with a stimulating and enjoyable learning environment, which is suited to their own ability. In my lessons there is focus on developing intuition and teaching the student how to think independently about problems. I will also assign regular homeworks to aid progression. Maths can be fascinating! You just need the right teacher. (I tutor German too, with a similar philosophy!)
