Trusted teacher: Studying currently at Leiden University College. I realized that taking the International Baccalaureate Programme (IB) during High School, not only prepared me for university but also equipped me with research and analysis skills, allowing me to be a better professional in the future. Nevertheless, I am aware that this programme is also extremely challenging, and most students, just as I did, need some guidance throughout the process. Here, I may come in to help you. During IB, some of the subjects I took were: 1) Psychology Standard Level (receiving 6 as my final examination grade) 2) Psychology Extended Essay (receiving A as my final examination grade) 3) English B Higher Level (receiving 7 as my final examination grade) 4) Polish A: Literature Standard Level (receiving 7 as my final examination grade) 4) Mathematics Analysis and Approaches Standard Level (receiving 6 as my final examination grade) 5) Biology Higher Level (receiving 5 as my final examination grade) 6) Theory of Knowledge Final Essay (receiving B as my final examination grade) I can be a mentor and serve as help for students writing their Internal Assessments in the subjects mentioned above, as well as when writing the Extended Essay in Psychology, or the Theory of Knowledge Essay. I may also tutor, in preparation for the exams, or to explain specific topics from: Psychology, Biology, Polish, English B, or Theory of Knowledge. I would also like to add that I lived in New Zealand for 6 years, and I am fluent in English. Please reach out if any further information is needed.

Erika - Tokyo, JapanC$28
Trusted teacher: 🇬🇧Hello! I'm Erika from Tokyo. I previously worked in a trading company and in a music agency in Japan. I studied Russian at university (C1 level) and French in Paris (B2 level), so I truly understand how challenging it is to start a new language and continue until you reach an intermediate or even advanced level. I enjoy playing musical instruments, dancing, and doing crafts. As a naturally curious person, I don't want you to give up learning something new just because you feel you may not have enough time for self-study. With me, you can simply keep going at a steady pace — I will remind you of essential points, help you build habits, and guide you in every lesson, so you can make progress without stress or worrying about time management. I can work remotely and can offer lessons early in the morning Japan time, so I am available for students in Europe or America as well. Please feel free to contact me with your preferred schedule. I look forward to supporting your Japanese learning journey! —- 🇫🇷Hello! My name is Erika and I'm from Tokyo. I worked in a trading company as well as in a music agency in Japan. Trusted teacher: I have years of experience with ESL and have taken multiple courses training myself in the best ways to tutor in ESL. I am happy to teach all ages. I currently teach several adults and numerous younger students. I specialize in students who have recently moved to the Netherlands and have little to no experience with English. I apply a hybrid method of ESL and school curriculum. After working for four years as a private tutor in Amsterdam for numerous international families, I have discovered a love for teaching Adult ESL. My goal is to not only to teach ESL tailored to life in the Netherlands, but to also offer advice and support to expat adults around life in Amsterdam. I currently work with the parents of many of my students who wish to improve their English. I am a former primary school teacher (International School of Choueifat-Dubai) who now works exclusively as a private tutor. My students are mainly expats, though I also do have several local Dutch students. Having moved around quite a bit, I understand the stress families undergo adapting to a new school system. After four year in Amsterdam, I also now understand the unique stress parents also endure adapting to Dutch culture and regular use of the English language. My teaching methods focus on improving Adult ESL that is tailored specifically to life in the Netherlands. I design my teaching plans, with my students, to cover the most essential aspects of English that are needed to navigate life in Amsterdam. Moreover, I have a deep understanding of how English in the Netherlands differs from conversational English in other countries. I have a grasp of the nuances of both languages and the areas which pose particular difficulty. I really enjoy the motivation of my adult students and the unique friendships I have formed through teaching. I know how isolated some parents who are neither native English nor Dutch speakers feel when moving to Amsterdam. I am happy to teach all ages either in person or via webcam. **All rates include 21% KVK sales tax

We had our first session a few days ago, with Alessandra tutoring my 8 year old son and 5 year old daughter, developing their reading and writing in English and their mathematics. Alessandra's previous experience as a teacher certainly shines through, as she definitely seems to know how children of this age learn. She provided original and exciting activities for the kids and they found it great fun; they are looking forward to seeing her again next week. Alessandra was professional to work with and I can definitely recommend her.

My 11 old daughter Sasha really likes to study math with Kevin, because he knows a lot of new things, that she didn't know and it's always interesting to work with him. Kevin and Sasha speak in German which is very important for us, as Sasha is preparing for the Swiss gymnasium. Our main goal to be ready for gymnasium math exam and we think that Kevin fits well for it.

Erika is a polite, punctual and reliable teacher. She is also very knowledgeable and can adapt her lessons to the student's needs and level. Her English is perfect when she needs to explain or translate something, but her classes are held in Japanese, as I think they should be. I highly recommend her!
