Bass Guitar ( Electric Bass ) Lessons (all levels)Translate this text using Google Translate.

Hi, I am Ed, a professional musician and music tutor based in London. I've been teaching bass guitar for several years, helping students to gain the best results with bespoke lessons for all ages and levels - from beginners to advanced. My study plan includes all you need to improve your skills with the bass guitar, either if you are starting from no knowledge of music, or if you are an experienced player looking forward to pass grades, exams, auditions, etc. In 1-2-1 lessons we'll cover the basic technique of the instrument (and later on advanced techniques as slap and pop, playing with a pick, palm muting, etc.), aural/ear training, solfeggio, studying and playing lots of songs (covering different music styles like jazz, pop, rock, funk, reggae, fusion, soul, blues, R&B, gospel), reading music sheets (treble and bass clef), study of walking bass lines and famous bass riffs, recording and analysing your bass lines, music theory/harmony, scales and arpeggios, composition of melodies, etc. First things to work on for a bass player are timing (ability to keep time accurately) and tone (how you produce sound and how it can change about the positioning of your hands and fingers). My past education includes a BMus (Hons) in Jazz and a Bass Diploma both of with honours, ABRSM Music Theory/Harmony Grade 5 and I am DBS checked.

Ukulele, Guitar, Bass: Theory, Technique and Creativity (MILAN)Translate this text using Google Translate.

Ukulele, Guitar, Bass: Theory, Technique and Creativity (MILAN)Translate this text using Google Translate.

Theory, technique and musical creativity for Ukulele, Guitar and Bass. "Not because everyone is an artist, but because nobody will be a slave" Music is freedom and how and why you learn an instrument is something extremely subjective. Everyone searches and finds something different but in the end, they all share the same emotion: the joy of playing. Both for children and adults there are many positive aspects associated with learning music: from experimenting that with a little guided exercise you get good results and satisfaction, to the realization that you can put something of yourself and your own world in music. The meetings with me, in English or Italian, in Munich or in Milan or on-line, are structured on the basis of the requests of each student but always within a coherent path that really allows the achievement of concrete results. I studied - and I'm keeping studying - guitar and Greek bouzouki with different masters (Giovanni Monteforte, Carmelo Tartamella, Dimitris Kotsiouros, Walter Donatiello), as a boy I briefly attended the CPM (Music Profession Center) and now I'm studying jazz guitar at the Music School Claudio Abbado in Milan, combining formal education with a self-taught nature. I have solid foundations and I know how to adapt the contents according to the different needs of each student.
