Trusted teacher: Hello, My name is Santiago and I am offering individual and personalized virtual Spanish classes to improve your oral and written communication. The main focus of my classes is on developing fluid and structured communication of the Spanish language, whether to prepare for international exams, to be able to communicate properly in the professional field or to reinforce and maintain previous knowledge of this language. I am a native Spanish speaker from Uruguay, I graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University in the US and studied communication arts for a year and a half in Thailand. While studying communication arts, I had several communication classes, I learned techniques on how to speak better using not only our words, but also our body to help us speak more naturally, calmly and without getting nervous if we blank out or forget. what we wanted to say. During my career in the United States, I constantly wrote essays for my classes, in addition to having to present projects in front of my teachers and classmates. At the same time, I was working at university and after graduating I worked for a year, mainly having long phone conversations with people from all over the country. In recent years I have gained invaluable experience living abroad communicating using my second language. Now, I help others looking to do the same. I help people from all over the world with their Spanish so they can achieve their goals. It could be studying abroad, living in a Spanish-speaking country, improving your communication in the professional field or continuing to practice so as not to lose your previously acquired level. If what you are looking for is to improve your knowledge of the Spanish language, I will help you. My methodology is simple. Each person is different and I adapt the content of my classes to the needs and interests of my students. We all learn in different ways and at different times, that is why I design my classes individually offering a no-obligation trial lesson to see the best way to achieve your goals.

Trusted teacher: ENGLISH BELOW I'm happy to help you get started with writing and/or improve your skills! Whether you're looking for a coach to guide you in and give you feedback on blogs, columns, short stories, fiction or non-fiction - I'm happy to throw myself into it. I myself am mainly active as a writer of theatre texts, but I also have experience with writing song lyrics, literary translations, essays etc.. I approach all texts from a creative perspective and artistic vision. As a theatre author I am also concerned with how a text sounds - if it does not sound pleasant, it can certainly be written better. As a coach, I focus primarily on giving feedback on the texts you write and I am happy to help you get started with assignments to start writing and/or to shake off the dreaded writer's block. If you prefer to focus more on theory around writing, I am of course happy to help you with that too. /// As a writer (mainly playwriting, but also songs, columns, literary translations and essays) I'm very interested in helping you either to start writing, or to better your writing. We'll work mostly by practicing and discussing your work. If you prefer to zoom in on theorists, I'm happy to guide you in that as well. I'm a professional playwriter and dramaturg (and studied at LUCA School of Arts with Nico Boon, Freek Mariën and Nathan Vecht). I previously taught playwriting in different groups (CREA, Buitenkunst) and work as a script advisor for professional theater makers. Besides that, I often help people in writing resumes, papers and thesis papers.

Rianne

rating green star
Rianne was a good choice of teacher. She is extremely patient - and goodness knows trying to teach a slow-learner like me requires a great deal of patience!! She is also friendly but firm. She always arrives on time, with classes prepared but isn't inflexible with the learning. For example, If we start to stray away from the book a little and pursue something that helps me understand a point of grammar or get to grips with the pronunciation of a specific phrase, she encourages it. She understands that for me, learning a new language is a real challenge and my confidence is not especially high whilst doing it - and i'm grateful that she sees this, tries to adjust the way she teaches to fit the way that i learn and doesn't show any exasperation! I would recommend Rianne wholeheartedly.

Fiona showed patience and humour and kept me on point throughout the session. Had few issues with my accent too which was a bonus. And the result was a tasty lunch in which I will practice all week to memorise. I'll be back for more lessons, Thank you Fiona! A pleasure.
