I am a professional opera singer, soprano, and current soloist at the Cologne Opera (Oper Köln, Germany), with stage experience at major European houses including Deutsche Oper am Rhein, Musiktheater Pforzheim, and Dutch Touring Opera. My background includes a Master of Music in Opera from the Dutch National Opera Academy in Amsterdam, a Master of Music in Vocal Performance (Distinction) from the Royal College of Music in London, and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Pedagogy from the Moscow University of the Humanities. Passionate about the performing arts, I have worked in theatre, dance and music. I began my singing career with musical theatre and then opera. I teach alongside my stage activities because it is a joy to share the love of singing, a discipline that is rich physically, artistically and mentally. Every voice is unique, and it's important to adapt to each student's personality, desires, and background. I enjoy exploring and researching with my students to help them bring out and develop their voices to the fullest extent of their abilities. My courses are based on 3 main principles: - Vocal technique: developing a healthy and solid technique, giving confidence and freedom while singing. Breathing, muscle support, stretching and vocal range homogeneity, agility... - Musicality: ear training, sense of rhythm, phrasing, exploration of vocal nuances and colors - Interpretation: Text work, projection, repertoire discovery, song construction I divide the sessions into half an hour of technical exercises adapted to the level and needs, then another half hour devoted to learning a piece.
