Religious studies is an important reference point for developing ones sense of self in order to greater understand and relate to others in the world around us. Depending on the students needs and preferences we can study a range of exam content and learn how to effectively answer questions, or we can openly explore theological and religious based questions and concepts. My expertise is within Christian and Hindu teachings and we will explore a range of “big life questions”, philosophy and ethics teachings and learn how to apply these lessons to everyday life.

These lessons will be interactive and enhance your learning about Theology, Religious Studies and History. You will be pushed to think more deeply about these topics and what their repercussions are for our society today. 2000 years ago, there was no such thing as 'secular'. Rituals were a common daily occurrence across the globe. How can it be that we have come to live in a wholly 'secular' society? What are the religious foundations of western society, and how has this shaped the formation of women's rights, LGBTQ+ rights and the rights of ethnic minorities?

This class is for anyone looking to improve how they write and structure their essays for exams. This is the hardest skill of all and is what gets you into the top bracket of grades. I am young student who has just come out of that horrible exam period and I know exactly what it's like. I'm not here to be another teacher, I am simply here to offer a little extra guidance in a relaxed atmosphere. I am very flexible with how you want to approach this class as well - whether it's just a discussion about what you struggle with to marking homework and providing reports. I believe everyone flourishes in different environments, so it is completely up to you in that regard.
