Early intervention is crucial for students with specific learning difficulties/dyslexia. I had a specialist degree in teaching students with dyslexia(PGcert in literacy difficulties - University of Birmingham). I use Orton gillingham approach which is considered the gold standard of interventions for dyslexic students. I am a specialist dyslexia teacher and in this class I will provide intervention for students who struggle with English literacy through a structured and multisensory sessions which will be interesting and engaging. Hello, my name is Claire. I hold a Master’s degree in Educational Sciences and for the past 5+ years I have specialized in supporting students with atypical learning profiles: ADHD, gifted (HPI), dys disorders (dyslexia, dyspraxia, dysgraphia), and autism (ASD). As both an educator and the mother of two children with ADHD and high potential, I deeply understand the challenges linked to attention, organization, learning strategies, and self-confidence. Why this specialization? Every student learns differently. Some need more reformulation, others visual supports, others a more structured framework.
