Therefore, the student will begin by familiarizing themselves with the cultural, philosophical and religious context specific to 15th century Italy, then they will discover the myths, stories, symbols and teachings specific to each major arcana. II) SPIRITUAL EXPERIMENTATION The Tarot of Marseille was initially conceived as a teaching aid but also as a tool allowing the soul to experience the Divine by illuminating the path that leads to the source of Life. To fully grasp the Tarot of Marseille, it is necessary to experience the spiritual power of each card through meditation exercises, prayers, and mystical experiences.
