Teaching has been one of my passions for the last years. I have experience as a theory, keyboard, choir and cello teacher at different ages (from 3-4 to adults). Would you like to play the violin? Have you ever had a violin lesson, but let it go again? I would like to give you the opportunity to try or pick it up again!

My name is Lonne and I give violin lessons to children and adults with great enthusiasm. Everyone is different, one shy, the other very unrestrained. In your own way and at your own pace, I want to teach you as much as possible.

In the lessons I pay attention to teamwork, music games, a healthy playing position, fun, musicality and technique. I have studied different methods and can therefore find the right method for a person. For beginners I often use the "method of the 21st century", in which students learn to play the violin in a playful way. For students it is instructive and fun to show what they have learned on violin lessons, that's why I hold promising moments every year.

I graduated from the conservatory in 2014. Besides teaching with great enthusiasm, I work as a soloist and play chamber music in various ensembles. I also play in orchestras and I work in light music.

My main goal is that students enjoy playing music by making violin. Age does not matter, everyone can learn it.

There is a Chinese proverb that says, “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” In my classes, I try to get my students to think so that in the future they will not have to rely on others to make their own choices when playing a piece.

- HEALTHY HABITS
Musicians can get hurt if they are not careful, so it is important to have good posture, efficient technique and study method.

- ENJOY
Music should be all about enjoyment. And in lessons too! I like to think I have a good sense of humor, so laughter is guaranteed during lessons too.

- PERSONALIZATION
Teaching is not “one size fits all”. That is why I adapt my lessons for each type of student. Duration, methodology, price and planning are determined based on the student’s needs.

I graduated as a Music Teacher and have been teaching piano for about 4 years. I also work at schools where I teach music. I work entirely on commission. Whether you need a piano teacher or a music theory teacher, I am happy to do it all.

My name is Ana and I am a 25-year-old pianist, graduated from her master's degree in ArtEZ University of the Arts in Zwolle. I come from Spain, but I live and work in The Netherlands. I studied for my piano bachelor's in Spain and finish with the highest marks. Also, I have experience as a performer and I have won some prizes in national and international competitions.
Apart from my piano career, I also have a lot of pedagogical training and experience teaching, both individual and group lessons. I can teach people of all ages and all levels.

As a professional classical violinist, I offer violin lessons to both children and adults in the Zwolle area. I have a master's degree from the Rotterdam Conservatory and have more than 10 years of teaching experience.

TRIAL LESSON

In order to know whether a student is eligible (physically, musically and mentally) for violin lessons, an appointment will always be made for a trial lesson first. During the trial lesson I will get to know the student, I will perform a number of tests (motor and musical), I will check the violin for quality, size (if it concerns children) and completeness, and if the previous matters are in order, I will then give a trial lesson. I will also answer any questions you may have about the lesson conditions.

LESSONS PLANNING

Although the lesson time is in principle always agreed upon each time, it is preferable that the lesson is held on the same day and time every week. If it concerns a novice student, this is even essential. The reason is that a lot is involved in establishing a good basic violin technique and a good basic technique is essential to continue to progress in the long term. In this phase, a teacher must be able to intervene in a timely manner if things go off the rails. Because a basic learned incorrectly is very difficult to unlearn. The regularity of the lessons is important to provide the student with sufficient time to process what has been learned.
