The oboe is an exquisite choice to begin your journey in music, especially if you're interested in wind instruments. We are the most featured instrument in orchestral solos, and have an incredibly beautiful solo repertoire, especially from the Baroque period.

I have been teaching in various foundations and high schools since 2020, and am in the Netherlands now for my Masters degree. I will be able to provide individual lessons and/or group classes at flexible times - arrangements can be regular or otherwise.

Extra information

You will need your own oboe for the lesson, and it would be nice to have your own reeds. I teach the European style but know how to scrape both American and European style reeds.

I'm Lien and I've been playing guitar for 14 years. I had a classical education, but now I mainly play better known songs.

In this lesson I will teach you chords and notes, with which you will be able to play any song/melody within a short time.

I will teach in a creative way, where it is important that the student has fun. The student may submit requests at any time. I adapt the lessons to the interests of the student.

Duygu is a singer, vocal coach, improviser and conductor came from Izmir\Turkey. After her study on Business and Economic Sciences, she enrolled at Ege University, State Turkish Music Conservatory ,the Department of Voice in Izmir and majored in Classical Turkish Music. While her study, she started to perform in Middle Eastern and European countries. Also she started to work as a vocal teacher at conservatory of Suleymaniah (Iraq) on vocals -Classical Turkish Music theory. She graduated with her MA studies at Codarts, University of Arts Rotterdam.After and during her study at Codarts , she started to work as a vocal coach- music teacher and conductor in various schools and choirs in Netherlands. Trombone lessons

Learning to master the trombone is no easy task. It is an infinitely variable instrument, it has no valves or valves, which means that the hearing in particular must be well trained. Solfège is an important part of my lessons. If you can sing something, you can also play it, is my vision. Besides trombone lessons I also give trumpet lessons for beginners. Even then I use the ear training method.

At music schools I teach according to the AMV principle. With that you can get your diplomas, A to D. The latter is, as it were, the audition for the conservatory.

In my studio close to Rotterdam, I give music lessons according to your needs. This can be technique, or being able to present an etude or concert beautifully. But also learning to play over a chord progression, improvising, being able to play freely.

COVID-19 update 2021: Due to the corona crisis, I am currently also teaching online via Skype. However, my studio is so big that the 1.5 meters can be maintained for the 1 on 1 lessons.

Do you like experimenting with sound and making music that does not clearly belong to a particular genre or style? Interested in bringing a fresh perspective and out-of-the-box thinking to your music production? Are you just starting out in electronic music composition and wondering how to develop your own style? This course is just what you need.

In this class, you will learn:
- how to transform sound using analogue and digital techniques.
- how to create sound structures and organise them in a DAW enviroment to compose a piece of music.
- how to record, edit and mix sounds using both conventional and experimental techniques.
- how to use improvisation in both the context of live performance and composition.
- about the theory and practice of free improvisation.
- about the history and origins of electronic music and how it affected the music we listen today.
- how to document and communicate procedures related to your artistic practice.
- how to create an artistic portfolio.

Aspiring musicians with a background in any genre can take advantage of this course. A formal education in music or experience with electronic music composition are not required to follow. However, you should be unafraid of experimenting with sound and music technology! Each class is customized to meet the needs of the individual student in an innovative and flexible way! The course can also serve as a preparation for applying to several Dutch educational programmes related to electronic music composition (Institute of Sonology, HKU, ArtEZ, etc.).

The class is focused on small assignments that help the student develop a sense of orientation and set goals.
Recording, editing, and mixing will be done via the DAW "Reaper," but we can switch to your preferred software at any time. We will use the first lesson to discuss your background, interests, and motivations in order to develop a course structure that is tailored to your needs.

Music is Play! and everyone is it's own game.
Read, understand and make only the music you like. I think if it isn't fun, it can't be music:)

I studied a classical piano bachelor, and later a jazz master and a live electronics master. In the meantime, I have been teaching music. It's longer than 9 years now!
Most of my students learn piano. With the starter ones, I use my own system to equally help them grow all the needed skills: body consciousness (to avoid lesions or bad habits), music theory (including writing and reading) and improvisation.
Usually most songs are made of melody, chords and rhythm. From there, I can help you understand how a song works, how is it written, how does it translate to the piano... and voilá! You'll know the song by heart, and will be able to play it a bit different every time, because you won't be following a set of pre-imposed instructions. You will understand how a small system (a song) works.
This way of learning can be applied to any song, from any century or style. Understanding is key! Play Chopin, write rock songs, play Monk, Bill Evans, the Beatles, make a lo-fi beat, play Beethoven, play the Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and Star Wars, play video game music, play salsa! bachata and make people dance, laugh or cry.
Music is very powerful!

PD: I have also experience imparting electronic music lessons in Ableton Live and Max MSP, which is now a very important part of my professional practice. In case you are interested, it is also possible to mix the two worlds and create a any kind of path between piano, synths, beats and home studio techniques.

Hello everyone, I'm Enrico and I come from Italy. Right now I am in Utrecht where I am doing a master's degree in cello under the guidance of Timora Rosler.
During my years of studies I always had the possibility to teach music, in fact while I was doing my Bachelor in Italy at the Conservatory of Turin, I taught cello and music theory in a private music school called "Isla de Musiqueros", in this school I had the opportunity to teach people of all ages, including children under 4 years old.
When I moved to the Netherlands little by little I started to find students and many many concerts.

I believe that playing is the best way to have fun and express your emotions, the work I want to do is work on tensions and try to help you melt away while playing, in this way you can have more sound and feel more free.

FL studio is a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) that has been one of the most used software in the professional field as well as for pure hobbyists for years. For me, Daniël, it led to graduating from the Herman Brood Academy as a Pop/HipHop producer in 2015, as well as winning the Grote Prijs van Rotterdam in 2021. In the meantime, I have done (co)productions for artists including Topnotch (Universal), and my most recent tracks have been heard on BBC1Xtra Radio, for example.

With my lessons I would like to help you from the basics in your development as a music producer. - Music Theory Lessons (cognitive approach in the practice of Persian Music)
Music appreciation is designed to teach students how to understand and describe the contexts and creative processes involved in music composition, recognize what is being heard and what to listen for, and understand sound and melody. What is the time signature? What instruments are being played? What are you feeling while listening to this piece, and why? The term "appreciation" has roots in philosophy, described in this context as the understanding of the value and merit of different styles of music. Our primary focus for this method is a cognitive approach to the practice of Iranian Cultural Civilisation, known as Persian Music.

Guitar is a very versatile instrument, used in many different genres, including classical music. For me, my journey with it started somewhere in my early childhood, primarily with listening to my mum's playing of folk songs. What amazed me is the power that music has to make people come together and communicate. So at 10, I formally started my individual relationship with the instrument, studying classical guitar, which has given me some of the greatest pleasures in this life, and I hope it will be my source of joy until my dying day. Currently, I am studying Makam music at the Global Music Department of Codarts, Rotterdam. Be it classical, Rebetiko, or any other genre, it is this warmth that I would like to convey to my students, and introduce them to a lifelong friend and companion, who is going to take them to the most interesting places.

Listening to music is one thing, but understanding, experiencing, and being able to create music yourself is a whole new world. A new door that opens.
As a child, you can start learning to play simple instruments (such as a recorder) from the age of 6.
Lessons are provided in a playful manner and made fun for the child.
The child learns to read notes and play simple melodies at his/her own pace.
