About Me
I'm a singing teacher and voice professional, based in Walthamstow!
I teach all ages, and my teaching style is tailored to the individual, prescribing technical exercises and repertoire suited to each individual's specific voice and interests.
As the voice in particular is such a personal mode of expression, I create a warm, safe and open environment for self-expression and development, encouraging students not only to achieve their goals but to surpass them.
Over the past few years, I have had seven of my singing students accepted onto the Royal Academy of Music's Junior Music Theatre programme, with one student offered a full scholarship based on merit. I have consistently successfully prepared students for GCSE and A Level performances and ABRSM exams, with the vast majority achieving the highest marks.
I am very committed to my own continuing professional development as a voice professional. I have taken many courses over the past few years from reputable sources such as Vocal Health Education, The Voice Study Centre and the Association of Teachers of Singing amongst others and have also taken courses in child protection and safeguarding.
