Sound therapy is based on the principle of sympathetic resonance. Resonance is the vibratory rate of an object, and sympathetic resonance when one vibrating object causes another to vibrate in harmony with it. When we are unwell it is because some parts of us is not vibrating harmoniously with itself, or surroundings. Sound therapy restores the healthy frequency.

Some ways how sound therapy can help:

- stress and anxiety relief
- improved concentration and enhanced creativity
- brain hemisphere balancing
- chakra and aura cleaning and balancing
- induction of alpha brain wave activity or deep meditation
- restoration of equilibrium in endocrine system (through vibrating the glands)
- easier access to intuition and higher consciousness
- alleviation of ailments (physical, emotional, spiritual)

I am a professional dancer who has completed the 200 Yoga Teacher Training at Samyak Yoga in Mysore, India. My training is focused on the physical & mental state within yoga as well as breathing techniques called Pranayama to assist the practice and improve overall well-being. All of my private and group classes focus on making the yoga practice accessible for all practitioners from absolute beginners to advanced students.

I believe Yoga is a shared experience that requires equal commitment from the teacher as well as the student. I make sure that students have a solid understanding of the postures, their benefits as well as the transitions between then to create a strong practice on and off the mat. I am always prepared to challenge the student as well as adapt to their needs.

My lessons are flexible and built on over 6 years of experience — and thousands of classes taught.
I tune into the needs and rhythms of each student and adapt my sessions accordingly. Over time, I have refined a teaching approach that is both structured and intuitive, based on breath, body awareness, and alignment.

My classes are dynamic, precise, and revitalizing. Regular and mindful practice helps strengthen the body, improve mobility, relieve chronic tension (such as lower back or joint pain), and correct posture.
Breathing and relaxation techniques are always integrated to regulate the nervous system and cultivate a sense of grounding and openness.

I periodically assess your progress so that your practice evolves smoothly and effectively.
After a few sessions, you will feel lighter, more centered, and more connected to your body.

I have had the privilege of teaching in a variety of settings:
• at home and online,
• in companies, where I have delivered many weekly classes,
• abroad (notably in Lisbon and on a Mediterranean cruise ship),
• and at yoga festivals, where I have led classes with over 300 participants.

In 2023–2024, I deepened my practice in Mysore, India, under the direct guidance of R. Sharath Jois, a leading figure in Ashtanga Yoga.

Since 2023, I am also certified in Sports Massage Therapy (ITEC Level 3, London), which allows me to better understand body mechanics and offer complementary care off the mat.

And in 2024, I completed a certified training as a fitness coach, which has profoundly enriched and structured my yoga teaching — with greater postural precision, a more nuanced understanding of the body in motion, and increased attention to each person’s physical progress.

Teaching is a vocation for me — I would be delighted to support you on your yoga journey with a consistent, safe, and enriching practice.

A Yin yoga class usually consists of a series of long-held, passive floor poses that mainly work the lower part of the body – the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, lower spine. These areas are especially rich in connective tissues.Connective tissue responds best to a slow, steady load. If you gently stretch connective tissue by holding a yin pose for a long time, the body will respond by making them a little longer and stronger – which is exactly what you want.
Remember the principle of the exercise is to stress the tissue so the body will respond by strengthening it.

BENEFITS OF A REGULAR PRACTICE
Increases circulation and improves flexibility
Calms and balances the mind and body
Reduces stress and anxiety
Releases fascia
Encourages deeper relaxation
Improves joint mobility
Brings balance to the organs through meridian stimulation

FOUR MAIN PRINCIPLES TO REMEMBER WHEN PRACTICING YIN YOGA
Find an appropriate edge: Move slowly and gently into the pose, and look for an appropriate amount of intensity, never stretch so far as to cause pain.
Stillness: consciously try to release into the pose, and to remain still, without shifting position.
Hold the position: begin by holding for 1-3 minutes gradually progressing to 5 minutes or more.
Come out of the pose gently and slowly.

Have you ever thought about taking up yoga but never followed through with your idea? Could we get started together by starting with a few classes together? I can introduce you to a rather intense yoga like ashtanga or a lighter and more varied one like vinyasa with maybe a little yin yoga to relax you completely? Let's talk about it together and don't wait any longer to enjoy the many benefits of yoga 😁. See you soon !

I’m a professional musician - a classically educated pianist who has completed the 200h Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Training in Mexico and became a certified yoga teacher this year.
My teaching is focused on helping students to develop their physical & mental well-being. That in ashtanga yoga tradition can be achieved through the connection between asanas ( physical postures) with proper breathing.

I believe Yoga is a shared experience that requires equal commitment from the teacher as well as the student. I make sure that students have a solid understanding of the postures and their benefits. I adapt the Asthanga sequence to students' needs but I’m always ready to challenge them if I feel like it’s the right time.

I hope to see you on the mat :)

I teach Hatha and Vinyasa yoga, greatly focusing on the body-mind connection, using the breath as a guide throughout any movement or sequence. My classes are invigorating while inclusive and adapted to any level of practice.

Before your first class, we will chat about what you are looking for in yoga, and I will adapt to your needs accordingly. With sustained and conscious practice, you will be able to reconnect to your body, build strength and stamina, improve your posture, flexibility, concentration and breath capacity, but also relieve or prevent chronic pain such as back problems or joint issues.

My aim is also for you to have a glimpse about what yoga is off the mat, if you are interested in knowing more about yogic philosophy.

I am available for private but also group lessons, also for your company/organisation. Get in touch to know more about group pricing.

In my classes, I aim to help students build an inner fire, get their energy flowing, and shift from being in their heads to being fully present in their bodies. Through breath, movement, and gentle guidance, I invite curiosity about the magic within themselves and their practice.

Expect moments of joy, stillness, and deep connection woven between the movement. An opportunity to breathe, feel, and move in a way that nurtures both the body and the heart.

Hello! I am Mallika. I am from India and have been a yoga practitioner for over a decade. I started teaching yoga in Brussels in 2021. I emphasise the need for movement, stillness and breathing with awareness during my classes. I am deeply interested in yoga philosophy and have grown up around yoga practitioners (not just the asana/physical practice) - and am happy to share the wealth of this knowledge with my students in my own way.

I teach meditation, breathwork, and somatic relaxation through a structured and deeply human approach. My sessions are designed for beginner or intermediate adults who wish to reduce stress, improve their sleep, alleviate anxiety, or simply reconnect with a more stable and centered presence in their daily lives.

I combine practices primarily from Hatha and Kundalini Yoga, along with more contemplative and somatic approaches, to offer a comprehensive experience: mindfulness meditations, concentration exercises, transcendence techniques, balancing or energizing breathing, body scans, and somatic relaxations. A class always begins with an assessment of the current need: fatigue, mental strain, emotional tension, or a search for clarity.

Then, I adapt the techniques accordingly, whether it's to soothe the nervous system, strengthen grounding, develop concentration, or support more refined emotional regulation. The sessions can also take on a more introspective or spiritual dimension when the person feels ready.

With over twelve years of experience and 800 hours of certified training, I primarily work with professionals and parents experiencing overload, burnout, insomnia, overwork, or personal transitions. My approach remains accessible, non-dogmatic, and resolutely practical: the goal is to offer a safe, tailored, and truly transformative space, whether individually or in small groups.
