I have worked as a high school math teacher since 2006 in different countries. I have been teaching mainly the UK curriculum. I encourage learning by using a number of different manipulatives, hands-on activities, and various forms of technology. By incorporating discussions, open-ended questions, and cooperative learning I am able to facilitate a highly interactive and inquisitive learning atmosphere. In addition, I utilize weekly quizzes and monthly tests to track student progress, locate areas of weakness, and prepare students for finals exams.

This class is targeted for anyone who wants to learn Spanish or improve his/her level. My goal is to adapt to the competences and needs of the student in order to make progress at the path desired. High flexibility is offered. Besides the traditional language lessons, the class can provide homework assistance, conversation practice, and exam preparation. I am a native speaker and have extensive experience teaching Spanish to foreign students. For instance, I spent one year in Germany as a Spanish teacher, where I taught from basic to advanced level, including conversation practice in preparation for the Abitur. I have also provided private classes to exchange university students for 4 years. If you have any questions regarding the classes, please feel free to drop a message!

I have been teaching Mathematics and English at all levels for more than 3 years. I have taught students with learning disabilities as well as students who are excelling in their studies making me well equipped to teach all kinds of students. I have experience as a math substitute at a secondary school (children aged 13-16) and therefore prefer to make a lot of mock exams and exercises myself. I like to keep parents as involved as possible and provide progress meetings outside of lessons. I have taught English to adults at a linguistics company for a year and have some experience teaching adults too. Even if you are an absolute beginner or seem to be struggling, I can find a way to help you learn better.

I have experience teaching a huge range of students, from pre-school children to adults. I use a variety of fun, effective learning tools and methods, which will be suited to each individual student. I am a professional composer, performer, pianist, and sound artist who believes that sharing knowledge and experience is one of the most important parts of our lives. We are creative human beings by nature. Are you passionate about music and sound and would you like to expand your knowledge? Do you want to learn how to compose your own music or play the piano? There is never too late to start or to continue with your passion! I believe that education is a dialogue and I adapt the course plan according to the level and the age of students in order to develop their potential. I am always trying to bring positivity, passion, and curiosity for learning. Depending on your interest I can help you with: Piano: I teach using different methods, according to your needs and goals. I always care about setting up and cultivating a healthy technique of playing, trying to bring a complex approach to interpretation or improvisation. Composition: Basic principles of creating a musical piece, theory of composition, notation (ranging from classical to graphic and open scores), instrumentation, orchestration, arranging, creating electroacoustic music, computer-aided composition, and recording. Music Theory: Harmony, rhythm, aural skills, music analysis, and history of music – these are some of the topics inseparably belonging to music education. Since I have many years of experience teaching music theory within all levels of education – from basics to advanced – we can find a way how to approach those topics with enthusiasm and creativity and learn as much as possible :)

"Music is a social experience". That's the main thing that, regardless of wanting to be a professional musician or just play to have fun, music can offer to us: we can learn how to be among people, and get to know things about music itself, people and even ourselves! It's also a great way to get our own personality and have fun: it enhances our sensitivity and it's just a fun way to spend time! Anyways, how rude, I'm Enrico, a world-touring guitar player, composer and band leader, and I'm really glad you're reading this presentation. I grew up in a small town in the South of Italy, Crispiano, where I started playing guitar as a game, because it was such a great way to spend my afternoons and get together with my friends, just like playing video games or soccer, and here I am now ... my passion became my life! I like to teach that in my lessons: how fun it is to discover new things on your instrument and share them with all your friends ... starting with me. I'd love you to play with me during our lessons and learn things by doing them, starting with what you already like, playing your favorite songs together so you can go out and do the same with your friends! I've been lucky enough to meet teachers and colleagues that had the same approach with me, starting from my classical guitar studies in Italy, through the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, where I'm currently finishing my jazz guitar Bachelor, till the masters or jazz music in New York City, which I had the luck to study with, like Peter Bernstein, Barry Harris or Dave Kikoski. This led me, despite my young age, to share the stage with great superstars on the international jazz scene such as Joe Magnarelli, Gadi Lehavi, Felix Rossy and many others and recording my first album, "Social Music" out with A.MA Records in July 2019!

I specialize in tutoring English and Spanish language for mostly adult students but also experienced in teaching kids. My goal is to make a student feel like learning languages can be also fun and not just hard work with loads of exercises. I like to custom every class to a special need of every particular student to make sure we focus on the aspects they find important or are needed to be improved. You can learn Spanish or English from the very beginning: reading listening, speaking, grammar or we can have long conversations about anything you like while improving your speaking skills.
