From 161 C$ /h

If you still want to learn the cello for its rich and warm tones, or if on the contrary you already have a few years of practice but would like to improve, I would be delighted to bring you my knowledge and experience.

During my classes, I also offer to approach music in a broader palette. I can also teach you music theory and the history of music.

The cello being a versatile instrument, I am keen to help you discover the range of techniques, styles and eras of this instrument, which is not restricted to classical music!

About Me

My name is Eléonore, I am 25 years old and I am finishing my Master's degree in Cello Pedagogy at the Geneva University of Music, in the class of David Pia.
Originally from Fribourg, I can teach between Geneva and Fribourg.

I already have experience as a cello teacher, as I have been teaching privately for several years and I regularly fill in at the Fribourg Conservatory.

In 2024 and 2025, I participated in an educational and musical trip to Mexico during which I had the opportunity to give masterclasses and courses.

I am interested in all kinds of musical training and styles of music. Chamber music is an area that I am particularly fond of.
I also played for several years in the Fribourg Youth Orchestra, and I had the chance to participate in Masterclasses with renowned musicians such as Ophélie Gaillard, Raphaël Weinroth-Browne and the Sine Nomine Quartet.
In other areas, I am a cellist in the band of Zoë Më, a pop singer from Fribourg. Singing also has a big place in my life, and I also play the piano.

Hope to meet you !

Hi!

I am an accomplished classical pianist and experienced teacher who offers you piano lessons, at all levels from beginner to advanced, for fun or for serious ones (preparation for competitions, auditions, exams, etc.).

I am a doctoral candidate at the University of Montreal (Canada) and am also pursuing a second Master's degree at the HEM in Geneva. I also have another Master's degree from the first institution as well as a diploma in performance. My doctoral research focuses on the neuropsychology of music learning and its applications in performance.

I had the pleasure of playing with orchestras and as a soloist at festivals in Canada, Germany, Austria, Spain and Switzerland, as well as being the winner of several competitions and the recipient of numerous awards.

I have more than 15 years of experience as an interpreter and pedagogue (even at university level as a lecturer). I am very dedicated to my students and I offer you dynamic, personalized courses to meet the particular needs of each person.

Courses are available in Geneva, Lausanne, Gland, Nyon, Rolle, Coppet and other nearby cities.

Lessons are also available in English.

Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

See you soon, I hope!

My goal is to approach music with body awareness and listening work. Establishing a link with the student to better adapt the approach and content to their needs is important.
The body, rhythm and improvisation are at the heart of my pedagogy, having myself been trained at the Jacques Dalcroze Institute.

I like to base my lessons on active student participation by trying to find out what the student has understood to find which approach suits each person best. This is why it is important that the student sometimes practices exercises that I give him.

For violin lessons:
- From beginner to intermediate
- Better to do the course by person and not by Meet
- The purpose of this course is to introduce the child to the instrument by teaching him the historical bases (the time of appearance, violin making, strings, notes, etc.) to the child and to show him the beauty of the violin. Then little by little we go

For music theory lessons:
- From beginner to intermediate
- In this course both are possible, so either by Meet (or other application) or in person
- The purpose of this course is to help the student understand how music is created. The rhythm, the notes, everything in general. If the student feels comfortable we can even go a little further to analyze all kinds of partitions.

Hello,

I offer clarinet and music theory lessons for complete beginners and with some basics for children and adults (I do not recommend the practice of this instrument at a too young age - before 6 years old).

I have a diploma in music theory and clarinet at the 3rd cycle Nantes conservatory, after my 11 years of music studies.

I specialize in classical clarinet and klezmer (Jewish music) but can teach you the basics of jazz.

The rates are not fixed, we can discuss it.

Lessons are for all ages, all levels, individual or in small groups.
Feel free to ask questions 😊

Whether it is to develop your technique on the instrument with the classical repertoire, or to play and accompany your favorite song, or even to prepare for an admission exam, I am here to help you! I am used to working with many different methods, depending on your interest and objective, taking into consideration your availability, personality, and level.
